to all of you who laugh at companies number of sales. because of these number, you start laughing and bashing at the qualities of the brand. you can laugh because you don't know or experience it. you can try so hard build something unique, something awesome, something great to compete with other player. but without recognition, you just no good.
if you're a producer, you'll know how it feel. if you just a 'yes sir' kind of man, i think you don't have the right to laugh at companies negative performance at sales.
the way you think and say shows how good you fill your head.

I own z1c n z3c. The z3c is n improved version of z1c.
Z3c vs z1c
1.z3c has smaller bezels.
2.z3c has stereo speakers.
3.z3c has taken out the ring around the power button which rust easy.
4.z3c has bigger cam button.
Z1c vs z3c
1.aluminium body vs plastic
2.Z3c has too thin chassis /poor vibration insulation for the stereo speakers(no website will mention this on reviews)
Software wise sony skin is lightweight. Some minor bugs here there which is annoying but goes off by restarting the phone.has room for improvement.
Hardware wise if u already have z1c,there is no point of buying the z3c unless u want the latest phone model.remember no one is forcing you to buy sony phones. So haters will hate n keyboard warriors go get the phone before you start bashing..coz you sound so childish.

No surprise after Samsung's drop in profits this quarter. What we need us something different from the same old designs. I think Samsung are on the right track with the GN Edge.

I think Sony is doing right (now) by focusing on the high-end line (Z3-series). The Z-line is almost complete now (Z3 compact, Z3, Z3 tablet 8" and Z2 tablet 10") - only missing a minor update to z2 tablet 10" as well as a replacement of Z Ultra (Z3 Ultra) to compete against Samsung Note.
Their main problem in mobile seems to be low/mid range (too high price, no added value), as well as problems in China/US due to strong competition and carrier support. Probably they should maintain a single mid-range phone (waterproof, ~4,8", 720p, SD 6-series), but otherwise focus only on the Z-line as an alternative to Iphone. Keep focusing also on the Z-lines ability to work great with other Sony products (PS4, TVs, cameras etc.). PS4 remote play seems like a great feature which brings added value to Sony owners.
For 2015 they should consider introducing a 12" Z4 Tablet Pro with bluetooth keyboard integrated in nice cover as an alternative to Vaio laptops. Would buy that immediately. Advertising needs to improve as well...

Sony always try to give best support for flagship phones(providing lollipop for entire Z family for example) so they have lost their mid range devices and low end devices market so it's not a thing to be amazed.

Z2 owners are obviously not the target customer of sony in launching the Z3.
Only moron people will be depress if they felt that their Z2 is outdated.

Sony should try to gain earnings from releasing something like moto e ,g, to emerging markets.i like everything about sony.but they have poor sales also due to poor advertising.

Samsung's golden era are about to end.
Next, Apple.
All of them will meet their maturity and will be in the decline stage.
I think in terms of sales, Cheap Chinese product will dominate.
People these days are not wise anyway so they don't care about the QUALITY and BEAUTY.
Sony's Xperia line-up have many flaws.
But compared to other, i can say they are the BEST.
Iphone- not waterproof
Galaxy- ugly design
Lg- cheap looking phone
Xiomi,lenovo,huawei- THE BEST. In immitating

Waterproofing is awesome. I'll take slightly bigger bezels to get waterproofing any day. No question.

Notice the difference? Sony will never be one of the major smartphone brands. Their UI makes no sense while HTC does make SENSE. ;). Even if they had marketing they still wouldnt succeed. Who makes 4 flagships a year? N-O-B-O-D-Y. My friend bought the Z2 in the summer and was really upset that a month later Z3 came and the Z2 had major price drop ( in Europe ). I'm sure many Z2 owners felt the same.
