Hope they keep it 5.1 not any bigger though a tag smaller screen will make it more comfortable to use but Samsung is unlikely to go that way. Making it any bigger than S5 will make it a phablet as Note 1 itself had 5.3 screen.

For instance, I can change the battery cover if its scratched and I can swap battery much more easily. Metals sides are more than enough for me. After all, more of the people use plastic case with every phone even if they built with metal. So I don't know why most people are talking about a premium look.

Ok. So we know we will get...
1.QHD Amoled 5-5.3inches.
It will probably have well improved power efficiency and reach up to 800 nits in auto brightness.
2.64bit Exynos chip and snapdragon 810.
Both probably around 2GHz for the A57 cores.
It will be interesting to see how they compare now both beingsame architecture and what the clock speeds will actually be.
3.4GB ram.
They almost had it ready already.
4.Finally they should move back to stereo speakers again. Hopefully improved versions of the one on the Note 4 or at least two of those at the least.
5.At least 3000MAH battery...Sadly probably not much more even though it should have great battery life anyway.
And will support quick charge.
6. Probably adopt the metal frame.
7.Obviously Android 5 Lollipop with a refined version of Note 4's Touchwiz.
8. Looking at a 16 or 20MP similar camera to the Note 4 and OIS and at least the same front camera as the note 4 if not better.
As nice as it is I would rather larger pixels and aperture than 20mp.
I wonder if the audio recording will be as good or better than the note 4.
Also things like water protecting even if it's using a metal frame are likely. The iris scanner is still possible.
It's also supposed to go for a new design language. Though I doubt you will lose the home button or poly carbonate back.
And as much as online haters talk bad about the S5 back it was very durable and insanely comfortable to the touch.

On screen buttons aren't as good to use and take up screen space for general use (i'm not talking about movies games etc). My tab 7.7 has onscreen buttons and they are a pain.
