Actually even if it had 3G...there will always be people that are not satisfied....some say it is a simple phone.....as a heavy duty phone...i dont think it needs touch screen or whatever technology u want in it...it needs to be simpler to be tougher....

It's great to read about, debate and have look at these phones with 35mp cameras, tripple HD display with supa dupa final frontier Amoled screens. But, hey, how many people actually buy them? In the end people usually want functional phones with open software. Not a THX home theatre system with built in bluray player in their pocket.

I work at a phone retailer in Sweden, and we have very little demand for these HD touchscreen phones. People just doesn't care that much about the HD phones after leaving the forums and actually spending money on them.

I know that Samsung and LG makes a small marginal profit on their HD phones. These HD touchscreen phones and basically just a sort of for show and what the company can do, a sort of cemmercial for their brand names, they still make the biggest profit on their ordinary phones by far.

Like i said, Nokia don't call the shots, the market and consumers do.

nice phone would have been great if it supported 3G. Those looking for an alternative might look at the Samsung B2700 which support the 3G network.

Nokia is still making the same phones as several years ago...No wonder it is loosing market share.

Samsung B2100 has IP57 which it is water resistant(can submerge in water) but Nokia is only splash resistant.
But Nokia got stainless steel body so supposed to be withstand more shocks and drops than B2100.
Anyway, both move are very welcomed as most of us need those rugged phones in some occasions(hiking, beach or raining season) as second handsets.
Price range is totally fit also cos you wouldn't want to risk yr high spec, high price handset in those environments.

This is a tradies phone... Why is E series, features or any other thing getting mentioned. I am not a Nokia fan, but personally I think this phone looks like a great little thing, some nice little bits like the camera but most of all, it's the best looking thing nokia have come out with in ages! Well in...
