Every time they say the same thing they don't give out dates as they want to make the software reliable by taking as much time they need to fix the bugs. We do not know when can we receive the update.

Just now spoke to the customer support executive of motorola ....he told me that the testing is in process ....update will be available via ota by end of november......i.e withing 4-5 days.....so guyz chill

It appears to be a rigorous and painful process when someone has to check manually for an OTA update notification 12-15 times a day. Hope there are many doing the same thing with their G2s.
Don't know what's wrong happening with Motorola.in.
Everyone is speculating a very day here but nothing really works.
No official announcements ever(India), chat with a representative came futile though.
But the fact is we're gonna get it real soon and I can smell that :)

Trust me guys KitKat is much better than lollipop..
I own a moto g which is on KitKat 4.4.4 and my friend got a nexus 5 which is now running lollipop 5.0
I used both and I feel my phone awsom ....!! And my friend is now looking for downgrade it some how...
The lollipop feels old fashioned...
I don't know why google provide such an update.. I think they will make it better with future updates like 5.1,5.2..
Now I feel blessed to still be in KitKat..

I recently got lollipop update on nexus 5...believe me its awsme..the only con is icons look very big and it wud have been much better with medium size or small sized icons

Why people are getting impatient calm down guys let motorola give the update a bug free one...otherwise later ppl will start complaining why buggy update n blah blah....motorola will give the update soon.
