Use the MS Upgrade Advisor and it will Upgrade yout Lumia 730

Hi Friends, I Also Updated My Lumia 730 Windows 10 ,, VIA OTA ( not via Windows Insider App )Everything is Working Fine , Having Little Bug only ,Battery Drain 1 Hour For 10% ,Some Full HD 1080p Videos are Not Playing Fine,Store app sometimes not working, Performance Level is Good , There is No Problem on Performance and Apps Crashing
I cannot do Factory Reset After a Upgrade

Hey guyzzz how are u.I have updated my nokia lumia 730 to windows 10 and everything is working fine.no glitches or bugs are not observed up till now and also many bugs have been removed .I am happy and I suggest every user to go for the update

Ste... moreI installed windows 10 on my lumia 730 and had no issues. everything is working fine till now. no problems at all, no battery or heating or app crashing problems.
I guess after upgrading to windows 10 (using the adviser app) one should do a factory reset (using the option in the phone settings) and start fresh. This reduces all the app compatibility problems.
Steps which I did to install windows 10:
1- install upgrade adviser app on win 8.1
2- using that, install windows 10 upgrade.
3- do a factory reset after the upgrade (option is available inside the settings)
this is crucial for battery drainage and app crashing problems.
4- after factory reset, again check for phone updates and there will be a windows 10 update patch. install the update (update, not an upgrade)
5- after all the above steps, update the existing factory apps on the phone using the "store".
6- start installing the apps you want form the store.
It took hell of a time for me to do all that.

Don't upgrade your phone for 10..its an developer upgrade and contains lots of bugs..
If u have upgraded already and want to come back for 8.1 then download "windows recovery tool" on your pc and then connect your Lumia device to pc..then automatically it will be downgraded to windows 8.1..

Upgraded my Lumia 730 from 8.1 to Win 10 yesterday.
Steps to upgrade-
1. Download Upgrade Advisor app
2. Run that to check if your phone is eligible for Win 10 upgrade. App will tell you that.
3. After that app confirmation you need to launch "Phone Update" and run upgrade. It is going to take lot of time. it took 4 hours for me to get the download and installation done.
4. You are not done yet... Restart your phone and then rerun "Upgrade Advisor". this will then show you Win 10 patch that needs to be updated/installed.
5. After installing patch you are done with the Win 10 upgrade procedure.
Problems with the upgrade-
1. Besides it took so long and not user friendly procedure. Win 10 is full of bugs.
2. Most of my app have stopped working.
3. Cant open Settings, camera, music etc anymore
4. Worst part cant open messages and open a dialer to make call. Can receive call though.
5. Have to figure out the way to downgrade it back to 8.1 to make my phone usable again without loosing the data.
I wont advise anyone to upgrade to Win 10 until these issues are resolved by Microsoft. If anyone has ideas to solve these problem please share.
Note: My other friends have also complaining about some system/third party apps not working post upgrade.

Guys...am using a Lumia 730 after the windows 10 upgrade through upgrade advisor...cortana was cool...when i went on factory reset for better performance...i be lost the response from Cortana..listening icon become still and no voice response from Cortana when i use it...if i tend to open Cortana notebook, app shuts and gets back to start....what went wrong ???...any 730 users with same issues ??

Hey I'm using Nokia Lumia 730 dual sim, I want to update my phone from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 for this I've downloaded Upgrade Advisor and when i run this it says "Good news! Your phone is eligible for an upgrade to Windows 10. We are working with your mobile operator and phone manufacturer to make the upgrade available for your phone, and you will see a notification when it's ready. But from last 30 days I've not received the update yet. Every time i check through Phone Update it says your phone is up to date. Please suggest how much time I've to wait for the update.

No windows 10 update for Lumia 730 whitout the update advicer app, once u updated to windows 10 on Lumia 730 the experience not good its slow lagging battery drained sp fast so I was roll back to 8.1 my Lumia 730, still waiting for official windows 10 update for my Lumia 730 in India

The Upgrade advisor rejected Lumia 520 for w10 upgrade...
Though I have the W8.1 update with the build 8.10.14219.341 as mentioned by microsoft and I was hoping that I'd get an upgrade for w10...
