Anonymous, 01 Dec 2014The M9 must have: Finger sensor Waterprof Snapdragon 810... moreI agree about the fingerprint sensor.

It's the one must have feature nowadays, and I am talking of the iPhone home button variety, not the stupid Samsung slide variety which doesn't work.

The camera sounds good and OIS is very good. The rest of the specs are generally meaningless nowadays, unless the phone is your main gaming machine.

Hope it contains no SD card and instead it must have 32/64 & 128 GB storage capacity.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2014The M9 must have: Finger sensor Waterprof Snapdragon 810... moreI disagree with the water-proofing. Speakers will sound worse and they are a key-feature (And they aren't too loud even without waterproofing. See Butterfly 2. Volume level is quite unacceptable)

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2014The M9 must have: Finger sensor Waterprof Snapdragon 810... moreFingerprint scanner is the biggest gimmick going!! No one uses it after the first 2 weeks and is a waste of space and resources for a company

            The M9 must have:
            Finger sensor
            Waterprof
            Snapdragon 810 64-bit
13MPx camera(at least) front camera is OK
            3Gb of RAM
Size of M8 (get rid of those screen buttons and move it to the black space at HTC logo)
            ...sorry for bad english

If they use black bezels space for screen, most probably 5.5 screen will fit into that space without increasing of dimension of the phone.

If they use sd810 with all that specs described in the article, I will definitely buy it! For bigger screen they can release one Max m9

They should keep the same dimensions of the M8 and just extend the display by eliminating those huge bezels and improve that crappy 4megapixel camera. Also add the latest chipset from Qualcomm snapdragon 810. All said and done and you'll have a buyer.

5.5"?! They are crazy. Hope this is just fantasy. Please make a mini that doesn't suck (kind of what Sony did with a Z3 Compact, only even more compact) and a Google Play Edition.

I not inclined for removable batteries rest is great what you said, need to get rid of HTC logo black bar and make camera great, I would be proud owner of HTC then, I still am only camera let me down.

typical human logic. all they are willing to do is compare irrelevant material items that reach obselence in a mater of moments, how degenerative of a spiecies. instead of a combined view to enhace the tech they create they start a mindless argument over specs that hardly ever matter. keep squabbling about which brand is better than the other, all i see is the same old two-radio used to relay voice messages. there is nothing special about this things.

Things to do on HTC ONE(M9): 1080 res. 5.0",Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16 MP camera, 32 and 64 GB of internal memory, stereo speakers, 3500 mAh battery or larger, less bezels - height no more than 140 mm, get rid of the HTC logo or put it instead of the home logo.

When rooted and used with a CyanogenMod rom, it was quick - but still bad on battery life. I liked it a lot, because of the keyboard.

None of my android devices have?? HTC Sense is much much better than touchwiz. Its much more user friendly and looks so much more grown up, touchwiz looks a little childish in MY opinion. HTC phones are of far superior qulaity to Samsung, the only difference is Samsung just throw money away with trying to get people to buy their phones and have begun to lose their dignity and respect as a company in MY opinion.
