Ingringing patents is illegal. And not replying to legal notices makes it worse. Ericsson is protecting its patents.. Plain and simple..

Kudos to those Chinese companies not giving a Damn about overpriced royalties. They single handedly revolutionized the market. Not to say that copyright should not be honored. But nowadays it's the majority of what we pay and *this* is retarded. The inefficient old system must die.

Samsung whose sales depended a lot on large markets like India even acknowledged that their figures would be affected this year due to their weak performance in China and loosing grip in India as it was already having problems because of MMX and Xiaomi presence even affected the sales of MMX leave alone Samsung. Both these companies as well as few others have been on serious mission of giving bad PR and for looking ways to get rid of Xiaomi from the day they started their sales in India.

Their market share in India is less than 5%. So they are not exactly creating a storm in India. Just barking in the loudest tone possible so that everybody notices them, that's all. Samsung is more affected by Micromax, Lava and Motorola. The consipiracy theorists who say Samsung is behind this sales ban should think further. Samsung is not going to benefit much from this in any case. Nobody is going to buy their overpriced products when Xiaomi products are not available. It will be those other companies who are going to benefit from this sales ban.
