I doubt it. If the real reason behind the sales drop is economical like e.g. market saturation then no matter what Samsung does will improve things. Flagship sales are the first to go down in troubled times.

"sure sammy might have learned a lesson or two."
Again very doubtfull. Since end-users needs aren't the motivations to create new devices anymore. Not since LG introduced QHD to be "the first" with it. It's now clear that others will follow not to be "left behind". While most people (with a tiny bit of common sense) rather want a slightly thicker (at least without protruding camera) high-specced phone with better battery-life then wasting performance and power on overzealous high res-screens and other fluff.

"...sammy should not price it like apple does.."
Which they are already doing, haven't you noticed? The Alpha with lower specs cost more than the S5 with better specs AND microSD-card slot. While having a microSD-slot in your high-end device is one o/t main reasons of Samsung's success.

For instance the problem with Samsung's perceived "bad use of materials" is not that they use plastic per se but simply that awful flimsy back-pannel! I have an SGS5 with the original inductive charging cover which uses the same plastic as the original cover but thicker, sturdier and feels a LOT better than the original flimsy paper-thin piece of crap. Additionally it makes the camera completely flush or perhaps even a tiny bit recessed. This improves the look of the device dramatically.

Everybody who takes my SGS5 in their hands immediately find it a high class and gorgeous looking device. They all wonder why everybody complains on Samsung use of materials. So by simply supplying a better battery cover a lot of complaints can be silenced. But have they learned?

Not with the S5 apparently because it comes delivered as standard with a flimsy paper-thin backpanel which started with the Galaxy S2 (but at least THAT device didn't have a protruding camera).

samsung are android world marathon champions - but under pressure -market place competitions - most usa companies have now given employees with special softwares -- AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION -also have special apps for iphone 6..all usa 911
services have officially moved to i-6 handsets for teaching training -in fact JAPAN has followed usa .. samsung has got to put SKATES on to compete in private sales markets .. INDIA IS BIG MARKET with 1400 millions people n 600 millions handsets active .. CHINA markets are china products orientated and chinese elites have iphones ..SAMSUNG seccond half 2014 lost out to i-6 in europe ..HONEST QUESTION - would samsung learn to produce LESS MODELS - sell off older models properly discounted - n new high quality handsets ESPECIALLY with HIGH END CAMERAS because corporate owners donot use cameras as much as PRIVATE owners for family photoes .. we hope above comments are taken as contructive ..

Anything larger than a 5 inch screen is too large. Screens larger than 5 inch should be left for the phablets. Very difficult to find an android premium flagship phone that had less than 5 inch. Hopefully one of the android manufactures will see the gap, apple has.
