If this happen i would nop... i will surrender all voip apps i.e. skype, viber, whatsapp, hangout and all other voips apps.mind it Airtel and mind it voip apps. Both will collapse in terms of revenue and profit.
We all will strike out socialnetworkally..plz TRAI HELP US...

Already they increased the data packs price by 120% ,If they charge separably for VoIP calls all the people they will not make VoIP call on slow 2G network .

Having a sketchy data connectivity in major cities and promoting itself as best for smartphones, now they want to charge for VOIP when we use apps like viber and skype, very very bad move from a network that really concentrates on advertising and nothing more. Even when you have a full signal its congested. Who the hell charges for VOIP anyways?

Airtel is an evil and a greedy company no doubt in that which is why they are most expensive in the market btw their 4g service sucks in Punjab region. And this is a stupid idea from their end.

Voice calls aswell as sms's have always been way over priced worldwide by networks. Even tho messaging over data(whatsapp, fb messenger)is fine but calls over a slow data connection are difficult. I still prefer to make a regular call rather than a Skype or Viber call. Still this Airtel is making a rather ugly move on its clients.
