FAZA, 24 Dec 2014Ported from airtel 4 years ago and now I will never ever co... moreMe too.. Never had any complains since then. Airtel has the worst network in the country IMO. Its always congested, data is throttled and don't even talk about their obnoxious rates and pathetic customer service. Their cheesy ads can't fool the smart.

Airtel and other carrier have already increased 2g n 3g data plans to cover for their losses due to apps like whatsapp, viber, wechat, hike, etc.

On top of that they will now charge for voip calls. disgusting these operators are.

Cant beleive TELE SERV could be take such step to increase their revenue.
I rmbd 6-7 yrs ago they active un-neccesory services without any confirmation like-caller tune, astrology, jokes and etc they charged ₹2-5/day or monthly charges of ₹50-70.
Many case were went to consumer forum.

I cant imagine AIRTEL which were no.1 tel serv in india couple of yrs ago now falling down and down.

Guys please share it as many as possible to other frds it should b reach to BHARTI MITTAL.

If I was in the whatsapp team, or anyother app, I would make the connection for the call be end-to-end and the port would be random.

This is already banned in India, and net neautrality is widely implemented by courts.....just wait until someone sues them

Advantages of IP messaging and IP calling..

1> No boundaries, no roaming restriction.
2> No need to worried about packs or balance. All you need to know is you net pack balance.
3> No message pending or dropping (particularly for messages)
4> No Call droping or network issue (particularly for VOice)

                                Disadvantages.

1> For Call, it require good internet connection.
                                2> Smartphone is required.

I am on Idea & they charge you whenever you download anything from anywhere but browsing is free. That makes a stupid internet charge apart from me paying for net pack. :-/
