BlackBerry Storm 2 stars in a photoshoot, Wi-Fi confirmed

11 August, 2009
Today's forecast: cloudy with intermittent leaks of BlackBerry Storm 2 photos. This time it's the Vodafone Germany's version - the 9520. The good news is that it has Wi-Fi too, like it's Verizon-headed counterpart...

This site is for the exchange of information and views. Not all contributors are 12, some actually have doctorates, and some even decent manners. rich, 11 Aug 2009why are they trying to make an 3GS copy ??? give it up how is it in anyway a copy of an iphone. i am not biased in anyway towards a brand but i am sick and tired of 12 year old fanboys claiming every touchscreen phone is a a oopy of the iphone. its touch screen, how else are they going to design it? keep your lame opinions to yourselves. people are taking interest in the storm 2 because people want touchscreen with all the blackberry advantages that might i add, can multitask and transfer files with bluetooth

                Hi Guys ,
As I see it I think that the storm 2 will beat a lot of phones on the market as soon as it's out . Even though there were so many complaints about the storm 1 because of the lack of wi-fi but Blackberry made his best to resolve this problem by adding it in the storm 2 . So far , I'm quite satisfied with Blackberry and all what I'm expecting now is when the storm 2 will be out so that I buy it first ...Cheers !!

Simply look at the poor rankings Storm 1 gets on this site and ask yourself if RIM should not be doing a whole lot more in terms of os, camera, and the ability to bluetooth files. Do you really want more of the same?

Blackberry will always suck! Lame company with lame phones, sorry, nothing personal. Also, the person that said that blackberries have intuitive menu/UI, I feel bad for you because their is nothing intuitive about their UI.

Tansen, 11 Aug 2009Hey Mike... For years blackberry has been the "Business pho... moreThe Blackberry OS is by far one of the most intuitive you could ever hope to use. People are put off in shops by all the sub menus because it looks complicated but within 10 minutes, i defy you not to have the knack of using it. There are business users out there who are more than happy to refuse a handset upgrade because they will only use a blackberry.

I've no doubt that you could use Android, WiMo, Symbian or iPhone for business, but I stand by my point, if you are managing multiple email accounts, you want instant delivery and you want reliability, then the Blackberry is the right one. It just works. Like i say, WiMo and Android arent perfect and both are prone to crashing and errors. iPhone is just fiddly, if nice looking.

Seriously, borrow a blackberry for a day and see if you dont love it by time you give it back.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2009Iphone 3Gs.. u wont regret it!Depends, in The Netherlands you can only get the iPhone with T-Mobile. I really would have liked an iPhone, but NOT with T-Mobile, their network just sucks to much in the places where I am. So the choice of a phone doesnt just rely on the phone itself, also on the provider!

Actually the Storm camera is better than the iphone, only issue i have with it is battery life, and the touch screen needs getting use to
