actually it's pretty decent, but RAM is too low. 1GB is not enough for me. 2GB is fine 3GB is enough. But for 64 Bit cpu's 1gb is very small 2GB should be fine 3 GB is a must. remember 64 bit CPU architecture consumes more ram when running apps.

2015 new budget era 64 bits(snpdrgn) .more power efficient cortexA53 ..4g lte(both sims).. along only wth $110 ..~7100rs ..redmi2 equip better 720p than previous..1s model ..front cam could better and Internal storage should be 16gb then its gone mastermind n budget killer .. Though waiting for hands on review..

colors of this model is very nice,, but mobile size is too big .... i like the pink color mobile ....

I wish they Xiaomi opend their stores in Cameroon. Cameroon is becoming a very great smartphone market. If Cameroonians are able to buy Samsung notes series and galaxy S series what more of Xiaomi. Open your stores here fast.

Well their product placement is pretty clear now. 1G ram for Redmi line. 2G ram for Redmi Note line. 3G and above for Mi flagship. This is their version of high mid low gameplan. Everyone who complains about slight upgrades just cool off. Which brand of phone maker does a great 360% reinvention with every single upgrade? How many phones on the market can u find that offers dual sim 4G/3G on both sim slots? This is pretty significant the chipset is 64 bit ready and in turn of upgrades bodes better then 32 bit chipsets after Lollipop era...

They're not complaining about it because it's a "budget phone". And you're complaining about a phone that's nearly half the price of Moto G to have 1GB ram.
