u r right brother. those phones were not Always so laggy n hangy. they hang only when you want to play large games. by the way i think 30 $ android & 30 $ nokia 215 wouldn't make any differenc . i think the nokia 215 would be a little more long lasting in charge and lifetime

If I could go back to a Nokia 3720 Classic (as in, if I could still find one) - I totally would.
I miss that handset. A toughphone with a flashlight..
Man, those were truly Nokia's glory years.

It only happens when you installed a lot of apps that running as background but not if they don't or just few apps. I had back then 4yrs+ android phone 2.3 gingerbread left in my drawer in dust. a 256MB RAM and installed with FB, Tweeter, Instagram and Viber still had 100MB RAM. Installed a lot of games as long as they don't use background when off. No lags or stutter.
How do you think back 2010~2012 all 256MB phones are laggy that cost $200+ or has the new phones these recent years makes you think all phones back then are laggy?

Cheaper phones of course limited capability. At least it install some of the essential chat/social media apps.
The only thing I can think you care so much for a little additional little standby is you plan to let your phone sitting duck everyday and if thats your plan, there are other models with the same talktime/stanby nokia phone that cost only $15~20. Half price!!!
