No Harm feelings, 07 Jan 2015amazing how companies can be so dumb Come ON 13 MPX On a Ko... moreHigher number of MP doesn't mean better quality of a camera. Moreover, 13 MP is enough for home users. Except if you want to print your photos on a massive A2 paper. However, Kodak is one of precursors of camera industry an we expect high camera module from this prominent company.

xelos, 06 Jan 2015Will Canon and Nikon follow Kodak and Sony now?I fail to see why you have said this?

*Nikon and Canon are camera/lens manufacturers only.
*This is not Kodak's first phone to be released.
*Sony makes all kinds of overrated crap.

They should put 2gigs of RAM. Looks simple and great. Hope the camera is good as the brand suggest... And also hope it doesn't come with an Custom UI, only pure stock Android...

Best of Nokia is now Microsoft and makes the best cameraphones. These you mentioned are rubbish, compared to 808 PureView and Lumia 1020. Aide, zdravo:)

From the specs presented, I believe that this phone will wind up being much like it's old cameras - disposable.

Kodak licenses their name, you know. Some chinese company buys the brand name, sticks it on their crap, and sells it. And your mom goes "oh kodak!" and buys aforementioned crap.

It seems like that might be the story here..

Read the press release on kodak’s website. Under each market segment, you’ll find an email.

For smartphones, it goes to an address not at kodak.com, but bullitt-group.com.

Go there, and you’ll find the statement:

Bullitt Group designs, manufactures, markets and sells mobile phones and consumer electronic products in partnership with global brands.
So this isn’t a kodak smartphone. This is a smartphone from a company you’ve never heard of that stuck kodak’s logo on it.

Shame on you Nokia... If you went to Android since 2011, no one would have ever been worry about the smartphones' camera.

Kodak is a big name but dead company. Only 20 mpx 3x optical zoom cam with xenon flash and great processing software can help them. Plus 5 inch FHD small bezel device with Sd801 at least and 2 GB ram. That could work, not this

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2015Not bad pictures,,,, but faaaar from okI had iPhone 4s, Galaxy S3, LG G2, xperia Z2 for a month or so and currently I have Galaxy S5. S5 has the best camera by far. Pics come out great, sharp and especially in the night club in half dark scene there is a notable difference between S5 and all others. G2 has a slow autofocus and slow led flash but it has good camera. iPhone 4s has maybe better cam than xperia z2 which is rubbish. Only downiside od s5 is front camera which is average. For example G2 has much better front cam than s5. So, take my word for it, s5 main cam is probably he best one there is, note 4 has similar ine and also iPhone 6 is great. Nokia is dead, I won'n say its name

Device looks good, specs not bad either. Being a photo company would be nice if they worked on the camera in regards to a large image sensor and lens.
