09 January, 2015
The phone employs a camera approach and hardware design strikingly similar to the Oppo N1.

This exact rotating camera design was on many laptops in the mid 2000s. Maybe Oppo should read up on prior art.

people are defending Polaroid because they think it is a American brand. The phone has a MediaTek chip set. Most likely it is a Chinese made phone.

It's funny how a lot of commentors here jumps on and bashes any Chinese phone that looks somewhat similar to any well known smartphone. But when it is the other way around, and it is so obvious in this case, people are defending the copycat and bashing OPPO.

well, if it's really polaroid phone in the image then they should be ashamed for 100% design rip-off from a chinese brand.

I had Motorola phone with rotating camera once, it's been a while ago but that's true. You cant do anything about design. Maybe size of rotating part cant be any smaller because of sensor or something. T
