Athull, 15 Jan 2015No, original Redmi Note is sold for just $150 for 3g only a... moreZTE Grand S II doesn't even have a stable version of Kitkat and it has only 3.75GB space for applications (better than Nubia V7 Max with 2.75GB for applications out of 32GB storage, or the ZTE V5 Max which has only 1.8GB for applications).

A Zte grand S2 which features similar specs to this phone can be had for as little as $200 while the upcoming Zenfone 2 with similar specs and expandable storage can be had for $200 too.
So yes Xiaomi did overprice this phone...

xiaomi NOTE (Snapdragon 801, Adreno330, 3gb RAM, 5.7inch FHD, 13MP Sony lense, 4mp Ultrapixels front camera, 16gb ROM) CNY2299 (around $350)
xiami NOTE "Top Spec Edition" (Snapdragon 810, Adreno 430, 4gb RAM, 64gb ROM, 5.7inch QHD,camera remain same) CNY3299 (around $550)

Mi note has another high end version that specs snapdragon 810 with 4gb ram & same design the price is almost 550$.. But this time xiaomi takes too much..
