Also, the internal memory must be 16 Gb and ram has to be 1.5 GB at least ( nothing less) , rear camera 8.7 MP acceptable, but front cam must be 5 mp selfie cam. The i will buy it 1st day 1st, only if it is priced at 250 $ with capacitive menu keys

hope they'll keep OIS and 16gb internal memory. if they remove those attractive feature then it could be very bad as of now. because HTC desire 820(21000INR) has better specs than Lumia 830(25000INR) and is selling for very less price than Lumia 830.. under Microsoft brand name it could be less pricier than Nokia.

Would be a perfect mid range Lumia with sd 410 processor, 2500Mah battery and 2 gb ram(even Lumia 435 has 1 gb ram) with design of Lumia 925.I would definitely buy the phone. Why the hell Microsoft is using old processor sd 400 when even budget smartphones like xiaomi redmi 2 and Lenovo a6000 are using updated snapdragon 410 processor

Excellent decision for microsoft. 5inch is what sells here in India and I personally prefer it as well. Gives good competetion to moto g.They nnow just have to increase the front camera to 2 MP, Battery to 2300+, and priced below Rs17000.

AnonD-64830, 26 Jan 2015Great. The range of Microsoft Lunia are expanding. That's w... moreWhat you fail yo realise is that Microsoft is pandering to budget market.

Those of us who DEMAND MicroSD expansion PLUS removable battery are not getting that are ALL flagship phones are Microsoft iPhones ie fixed memory 32Gb (I have 32Gb memory cards!) and non user replaceable battery!

Microsoft offer 2 tiers the upgrade offered to the best non iPhone the Lumia 820 was the deliberately set Microsoft 830 adding 2Mp to the camera so now 10Mp .

10Mp is half the 20Mp pf the Microsoft 930

It seems that all Microsoft are doing is attracting saless without worrying about keeping them ans at the same time offering a Windows based iPhone.

The problem is that Apple now offers a 128Gb iPhone6!
32Gb is too small ad on-board plus 20Mp pictures take up space

I would have gotten the original 830 over the 820, but I won't be upgrading the 830 as it is a tweak, and I don't think the 840? (The 830 replacement) will be another tweak

I don't think Microsoft change anytime soon flagships being Microsoft iPhones

Great. The range of Microsoft Lunia are expanding. That's what Microsoft needs to do to be credible. I have Nokia Lumia 735. Stocks of current flagship Nokia phones could be re cased in Microsoft Housing and software re loaded as Windows 10 models and put on sale.
