I love lg's design and features, but they are getting dumb. they are just sacrificing bettery life, CPU and GPU performance for this dumb 3k display.
Hey GSMARENA!!!!
Just put a questionnaire and let people vote. I bet more than 70% of people are against the 3k resolution.
And lets just hope that LG listens to us.

I LOVE LG Smartphones but i think they are going the wronge way in terms of understanding the needs of consumers.
The Smartphone is no longer suprising and manufectures cant change many things every year.
Here is my wish list from LG:
1. I dont want LG to increase the resolution of the screen because it is simply not neccesary and the battary will end sooner.
2. Please add a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, without fingerprint its like driving a car without automatic gear or not using an elevator, its a must !
3. increase the BAT even more (3000mh is nice but we want more)

Another phablet another mistake. LG learn from Apple, if u insist on making big phones remember people's hands never grow bigger. U should keep the flagship phone at max 5" and u can have LG G4+ with 5.5" to 100". Advantage of having a normal screen size of smaller phone shouldn't be overlooked, comfort with one hand usage and pocket ability. One fact is that our pocket never go deeper.

another pointless exercise by the time we 4k screens on mobiles 8k will be out. So all this tech its out of date by the time people get it.

...And a free LG microscope is to be bundled with each phone, so that you can actually see those pixels. I guess.
The human eye can't even see the difference between this resolution and 2K, but who cares. It's gonna sell, that's all that matters.

That's so stupid ... who needs a 3k display on a small smartphone ? 1080p for smartphones between 5.5 and 4.7, 720p is great for smartphones below 4.7 is more than enough. They better develop some better software rather than doing this annoying screen upgrades. Anyway the SOCs can't even handle 1440p. There is not enough performance for 3k/2k
