09 September, 2009
Only a day before the Motorola Android event, the specs of two unannounced handsets running the Google OS were spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance files. Both phones feature full hardware QWERTY keyboards..

[deleted post]"This is like the "PC Gaming is dying" thing, where people say consoles will rule the industry. Sorry, but this is all a big lie."

This is the opposite. PC:s have better specs than consoles, while Nokias etc. have much better specs than Motos. I mean, even if you sum up both of those devices' specs, then they won't still be anywhere near the N900. Sorry, but you're wrong. PC gaming has became a hardcore niche, while Moto is a casual one...

[deleted post]I'm only wondering why am I getting this reply that seems to be cut from the 'post your comment' bar and pasted in the comments section. IMHO do I deserve to be reminded that, as everybody knows bashing is'nt good? Oh btw to the guys whining about how bad the Android OS is and praising the Maemo OS only because it's built for Nokia, I wud say they are both Linux-based and the Nokia N800-N900 are'nt phones but internet tablets so you can't compare the two. Someone replied to my post that technology would be going backwards if Symbian may build their OS for the desktop while I was just suggesting that it was about time when S60 build a desktop version of their OS, but guess what, Symbian is entering the Netbook market at long last. I'll be checking my GSM Arena news section later today for the IFA news because Opera Mini is'nt compatible with GSMArena's RSS feeds (I only hope they fix that).

Instead a putting substandard VGA camera in MB200 they could have opted without it. At least there could have been more room for hardware to run good..

You guys just easily generalize something you haven't got full info about. Why not actually try to experience them first before making any conclusion?

Well, well, well! Look who's coming back. I was w8ing 4 a Moto come-back in anticipation 4 a couple of years now. Moto is'nt really dead, they just need 2 look @ what end-users need in a modern communication tool, a mobile phone/computer that is, communication must be a priority. We shud c a lot of improvents in calling just like Moto has done with the inclusion of Crystal Talk, the document viewers in mid-end phones shown in LG & Samsung as well as including 'social' activities like e-mail, Facebook and YouTube as built-in 'push' applications, just like Black Berry . Those are the most important tools in communication coz it's more than just making and receiving calls and SMSes. I prefer being connected than entertained in my ideal phone. Well hope Moto is bringing sumting 4 me coz I really miss it. I've been using my S40 Nokia 4 over 2 years now and am tired of it.

on the same token, doesn't look like SE will offer anything like Crystal Take, charge by mini/micro USB, etc...

And how many years did SE take to offer its first phone with 3.5mm jack?

The year 2001, the new stranger suddenly reaches to the market. Who is this pretty stranger? Its Sony Ericsson. The story is totally different in 2001. That means the big names of mobile makers in 2001 are Nokia and Motorola. Samsung, LG and SE are very small companies comparing to Nokia & Motorola (Kings of Mobil world)

Wonderful year 2010(Mobile kings of 2010),
Its very few days to start wonderful year 2010. Now the 2001 story is totally changed. Who are the mobile kings of 2010? No duet, that’s SE, Samsung & LG. I’m really sad to say Motorola & Nokia very far behind the SE, Samsung and LG technology.

As if high end phones are what EVERYBODY wants, why HTC isn't in the top 5 best sellers? Or should it even be number 1, since it practically ONLY makes high-end phones?

Phones makers actually make profit by selling mid/low end phones, as the cost of R&D would be depreciated and cost of the components, according to some, may worth only around US$10.

[deleted post]Unfortunately, even the industry counts how big the market share is by the "volume" or number of phones.

Sort of like Honda and Toyota, they make many more Accords and Camrys, than let's say, Audi.

But that doesn't make Honda or Toyota being companies who make bad cars, indeed they do. (if not better than some German brands, especially in terms of quality and reliability)
