So you make do as best you can because you don't want to go against the herd, so you go take your frustrations out on other phone users by continuously whining on forums.

That's what I call hell.

I have always edited my songs to make ringtones for 7 years so I can choose the part I like that starts at a loud point.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2009How much does your phone network charge for a ringtone? ... moreWoah. Well yeah it's not that Apple is now the bad guy because it offers you to pay for ringtones. But it's now becoming just like all the other greedy companies making you pay. It's really not right for ANY company to do that, so I can see that what he is saying is a bit of bias. However, maybe he should call "bias" for all the times people bluntsided Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc. in nearly every other article. Remember the N900 thread? I don't hate Apple, but I hate their snotty, half-witted fanboys. Goes the same for any other company 2.

How much do companies like Jamster?

How about OVI store, how much do they charge, seeing as you can't use the Comes with Music or Nokia music store songs as ring tones?

                        Samsung's new store, LG's, Motorola's, Blackberry's, WinMo's stores all charge for ringtones.

What's the big deal, selling ringtones is a common practice it's been going on for years, companies are making money from it otherwise they wouldn't still be doing it.

Apple actually sell them for less than most of the above.

I just make my own for my iPhone for free, I've got over two hundred assigned to different contacts.

                        Why the bias against Apple?

i can't buy iphone(legally) here in india. its too costly for us, more then having a n97 phone. i think microsoft must jump into this and make a decent phone with winmo. sure it will better than all current phones in market. we need cheaper phone with better quality and not a pricy phone with missing features. we also dont use internet on phone everyday. its cost us too. ordinary indian dont buy a high-end phone. he just dream to have it. but cant afford. he buy china phones, cheaper with same features and look. unless big companies try to make a decent phone for ordinary peoples. i like iphone, xperia x2, n97, omnia hd, htc pro 2 but cant buy. but have it look-a-like in china phones. its not bad either. even has more and better features than original phone. like can listen radio without headphone. that feature you dont find in any high-end phones. even in iphone and all phones that have mention above. so think big companies and make some decent phones for us.
