They're going to keep denying that there are problems because that's good PR for them. They want to maximize sales.
If this overheating and throttling issue starts getting out of control, everyone is going to skip SD 810 devices and buy the Galaxy S6, and that looks like what's about to happen in a few months. The other OEMs are desperately trying to delay this.

LG, this test is flawed because Qualcomm isn't giving us the associated clockspeeds for the tests.
Their omission of this important fact only reinforces my suspicions that the SD 810 did overheat and that the OEMs "fixed" the issue by throttling the chip.
A recent AndroidPolice editor's post only gives credence to my assumption:

"I can't tell you what Snapdragon 810 device I'm using, but I'm using one, and I will say that this thing categorically throttles like a son of a bitch. It can't even run Geekbench 3 three times in a row without having to throttle down performance a solid 20-30%. I can see why Samsung ended up avoiding this chip. Also, it gets hot. hothothot.
My results at this point show a 35+% peak drop in multicore performance and a staggering 50+% drop in single core performance as thermal load builds. That's pretty fucking terrible.

I used to be a sammy fan but not anymore. Sammy is just plain stupid coz they cannot control the divice temperature. Dumping SD for their own is just plain economics. They want bigger profits as they are losing to others, even to the new kid on the block!

It took weeks for Qualcom or lg to say anything. And of course if Samsung is trying to keep the details about their device a surprise they are not going to mention what CPU they used.
There is a tell kinds of rumors against Samsung too. It's the media. A mix of truth, leaks, wishful thinking, bashing, and speculation.
How is it different from any other year or a telly other flagships not giving out there secrets? Do you see LG giving away specs on G4? No.
But you will again ignore and only make more side tracking king claims.

LG, 15 Feb 2015As LG & qualcomm release official statements regarding ... moreThe truth is that Qualcomm overheats and then throttles . Just look at the damn tests, no way it's 40% slower than samsung using the same cores, only throttling can account for this.
So yes Qualcomm throttles, if you try to stop the throttling (like Samsung tried) it overheats. It's a crap Soc even mediatek is better these days...

-lg says they are legally moving against qcomm for above reason.
both qcomm and lg released official statements in 1-2 days .
Is samsung sleeping for months when initial statement released. so i suspect samsung . they should listen social world and clarify this officialy rather than thinking let rumour spread and fans fight.

As LG & qualcomm release official statements regarding SD810 , If samsung is a responsible company, they should release official press conference telling the truth about SD810 .
Instead they are thinking let fans fight and get confused.we will somehow make profit. This was exactly what they did to apple . Compare & replicate iphone ,bash iphone users in ads bash nokia , pay fans, gain market .
HEy samsung , if you are ethical company , release official statement regarding SD810 . How can we believe you are not hearing fans fighting and getting confused .

LG, 15 Feb 2015LG released a SD810 gflex2 , so is HTC and sony .
Its sams... morei never seen apple targeting samsung . They always do great innovation and create quality products with high performance .
I support android because of connectivity NFC/bluetooth/Wifi direct / Customible ROM / themes etc
and ofcouse the price and choice of devices from multiple vendors with differentiating features. iphone is best in quality and performance but its boring ,overprice ,non-customisable

And it's everyone else that said about SD not samsung. Samsung kept their actions and reasons secret. If there was no leaks of Exynos nobody would even know Samsung was not using sd.
LG are the ones that confirmed sd had problem. But I await you you same level of denial and trolling replies of bashing jealousy.

Samsung do negative marketing against apple and qualcomm. They simply dont have clear selling points for products .
So i am supporting SD as its proved power,performance,OS update,dev support and gaind confidence of users and OEM's which samsung tred to tarnish by telling SD810 as overheating device.
If they want to use exynos,its well and good .Sell by highlighting exynos features notby telling SD810 is defective . Or get ready to bashed by people like me who likes ethics, innovation and quality in technical products.
