AnonD-363885, 15 Feb 2015I don't know LG. Have you seen the contract between Meizu, ... moreim not convinced to legal contracts ur telling ..
i have seen LG using nvidia/mediatek/sd at the same time .. now also . so theoretically they can use exynos also.

regarding s3 .. before snapdragon s4 pro(lg g/nexus4/xperia z), snapdragon was under performer .when s3 released ,there was no snapdragon s4 pro so they used exynos. after that nexus4 released and in all competitive studies s3 lost to nexus4.

these are truths that we cant deny as all info available in digital world

LG, 15 Feb 2015interesting :) so leagal issues are not there for meizu w... moreI don't know LG. Have you seen the contract between Meizu, Samsung and Qualcomm? It's like Samsung and Apple's contract, they only contract to utilise certain aspects of Samsung products. Might be the case with LG/Sony/HTC. They may already have contract in place with Qualcomm to obtain SD810 at a significantly cheaper price than obtaining the Exynos chip from Samsung. Right? You can't deny it because you haven't seen their contract papers.

Also, you haven't answered my question. Apple is Samsung's main competitor. Correct. But they released S3 in the US that was inferior to the international S3. Why? Tell me. And yet they sold heaps in the US. And as I said before, the Exynos chip frequency for LTE is not compatible with US LTE frequency. Hence, not utilised. Simple. Besides, the US market is big and hence may have wished to sell the SD805 because of other benefits like support for VR Headset which is extra money for Samsung. (Exynos Note 4 does not support VR headset).

Just don't think of it as tech-head but as a businessman. Lot of factors to consider. It's not just "oh, we will lose to Apple". It definitely is a factor but not the biggest. They are a business. There's gotta be a business model for the US. Clearly they have succeeded with Note 4 SD805 in the USA. Besides, Note 4 SD805 blows iPhone 6+ in terms of what a "phablet" is about. Note 4 is the best phabelt with respect to true multi-tasking. No other phone can match Note 4 in true multi-tasking. Period.

i also perfectly agree samsung have to release sd810 version.the same i already mentioned in earlier comments .

why samsung doing negative marketing saying sd810 is overheating and underperforming ? and sammy fans supporting the same.

so leagal issues are not there for meizu who use both sd and exynos?

lg/sony/htc using samsung memory so memory we can use but not the processor ? all are here for money .

in US, apple is the main competitor to samsung.
Are you believing samsung have a high performing exynos note4 and they release SD805 under-performing note 4 to compete agains apple in US market ? what you say ?

LG, 15 Feb 2015thats what im asking ... Why 2 versions ? If exynos is bet... moreIt's because their LTE frequency is different for the Exynos. It's like the S3. The international version was different to the S3 in the US. The US S3 was in fact inferior. Yet, they were successful. Any comments?

Also, if you did some Google search, the majority have approved that Exynos 5433 Note 4 outperformed Note 4 with SD 805.

The S6 will release both Exynos and SD 810. There will be a comparison no doubt and let's talk again then. Until then, the result so is that Exynos 5433 ousted SD 805.

And with respect to LG/SONY/HTC not utilising Exynos and choosing SD, it isn't that simple. It is a BUSINESS. I'm sure they all look at business viability and there may also be legal implications. Costs issue, pre-contractual arrangement between manufacturers and Qualcomm and you can't deny rivalry as well with Samsung.

And look it up mate, Note 4 Exynos outperformed Note 4 SD 805.FACT.

Many even queried as to whether they should import an Exynos because they may receive Lollipop 64bit in the Exynos.

Get over it. The Exynos 5433 and Exynos 7 outperforms Snapdragon. You know what, Samsung is releasing to certain regions SD 810 in S6. There will definitely be a comparison between Exynos 7 and SD 810 in S6. So just sit and wait. I put my money that Exynos will blow the doors off SD 810 in performance and benchmark. Stuff the dev support, that is an entirely separate matter. Just talk in performance of stock chip.

In normal sense , there is a application processor and modem processor in all solutions . nvidia/TI/mediatek uses qualcomm modem to get LTE connectivity .
So samsung can theoretically use a exynos AP + qcom modem so that they get maximum CPU/gpu performance and connectivity .

why SD version of note4 was given to US carriers ?
They should give superior device to US carriers rt ? so that wont lose the business.
