1. Go to google play store.
2. Install/Upgrade "Motorola Update Service"
3. Then check again system updates for new version in your phone and You will get it.

Still haven't got the Lollipop update yet on my boost mobile Motorola Moto G. It's been months since we were suppose to have it, yet I still don't. Apparently nobody has yet from what I've read on here. It's April 16,2015 and have heard nothing else about it after the Motorola service update (and that's been 2 months ago) getting a little annoyed..

It's been over a month since the last post. Has anyone using Moto G original on Boost Mobile service received Lollipop yet? I have already updated Motorola Update Service. Any new information out there?

I received the notification to ensure that I had the latest version of Motorola Update Services, but I didn't click "more info" because I had already updated it. Will I still be able to receive the update?

I have the L update for some time now. The most important improvement is the notification centre. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to get the new Camera API2 which supports RAW shooting and access to more advanced camera features. Also, it seems that after the update I've found my phone dead in the morning more often and in the evening before it had enough battery left to go through the night. This usually means missed alarms - annoying.

I was feeling the EXACT same way, I checked EVERYNIGHT for updates just so excited for it. I have the first gen Moto G XT1028 (Verizon) and we've yet to receive any update AT ALL, so my excitement is begging to die off. Hopefully it's here by March 5th
