This phone will kick Xperia 3 way too easily
Cause X3 only gives ''talk and text'' and this phone gives very decent specs
Perfect time for the announcement of this phone by NOKIA
I hope X3 and 8800 Erdos be launched at the same time so we can see X3 being kicked off.
About the price, well it will definetly be around 1000 Euro or 1200 Dollars.
X3 ain't got any thing except look
Erdos got the looks and the specs

Wow. And I thought the Carbon Arte was classy (not that I'd still get it)! This phone has the best of both worlds so this satisfies everyone! Nokia is awesome! If only awesome didn't cost so much... And this would look amazing in gun metal grey!

I hope the phone can answer without sliding it open. I have the Nokia 8800 and you had to slide it. That wasn't good. Now I use the Nokia 8800 Arte and you can answer and make calls without sliding it open because the buttons are not under the slider.

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2009For all the Nokia fans who bombarded my comment, Yes i s... moreYour comment is not going to affect people like me who have too much money to spend. We admit, we have loads to spare and this is going to be the next gadget to buy. Afterall, it's all about money. Grow up and join the club.

This is the ultimate in its class. For a person who rides in a mercedes benz and wears a rolex daytona, this is the phone!

If you can afford one without effecting your mind or life in any shape or form then this phone is definitely one to get.
I think this will be priced aroound 800 to 1000 Euro which is not all that bad.
I would love to buy the Nokia N900 or HTC Leo and buy this phone too but my budget won't go that far. I would like to have this as a secondary phone as the screen is not big enough.

Doesn't deserve any to be stitched with 8800 label, Nokia kinda switched aesthetics with performance desperately...

design wise, i have to admit that this is a beautifully designed cellphone.
but, since this phone obviously will have a very poor price/performance ratio, there's no way i'm gonna buy it.

Almost. If this phone captures VGA video at 30FPS (not the useless 15FPS) and has a 3.5mm headset jack, then it will be the world's first PRACTICAL quality phone. As the 6700 and early 8000 series models proves, when Nokia put their mind to it, they can make some phones that look and feel great AND do the job too. But leaving out features that renders them nothing more than fashion statements is pointless. Why launch a phone in 2006/7 (N95) that does more than a more expensive phone in 2009? What are we missing here people?
