14 September, 2009
It seems that HTC have been keeping themselves busy with the 1GHz Snapdragon platform and some leaked shots have just revealed the HTC Leo (or should we say HTC Pro Three), which runs on...

I don't understand why you people say this is fail? I mean the omnia HD only has 600mhz proc speed when this thing has 1ghz, almost twice that of the omnia plus larger screen? personally I love the screen. I wish samsung or nokia has something as big.

    Anonymous, 15 Sep 2009iphone latest 3gs use samsung S5PC100 which has A6-cortex 6... morethere's no such thing as A6-cortex!!!

Samsung does produce SoC for 3GS but it's based on Apples design and highly tweaked Cortex-A8 with embeded DRAM

Samsungs first Cortex-A8 is Hummingbird, and will come out by the end of this year @ 750, and 1000 MHz and will power upcomming Samsung phones

so get your facts straight before making lame claims!

Once again, this is NO MATCH for the superior I8910 HD that I have. ^.^ If somebody doesn't believe me, look up at the specs!!!

To begin with, I really like HTC phones. I own Touch Pro. It really good, but except a few problems - camera, color, sharing internet to computer (anyone knows how. Hope the next generation of HTC will upgrade camera and other things.

Is it so hard to put 512 MB RAM inside a phone?

Oh, and as you can see by the pictures: the Leo is slightly bigger then the Touch HD which is about the same size as an iPhone or the N900 (go check it out on the compare section, if you don't believe me). So if this is big, what's are iPhone and N900 then? Nobody seems to have to problems carrying around a iPoop or the soon to be released N900, so why should this phone pose any problems? And none of the other offer such a big screen :-) Have to see the final specs, but I'm sure this will be a phone that will be hard to beat spec wise...

LOL(is not based on JAVA at all) in case you live under a rock or something http://developer.android.com/sdk/1.5_r3/index.html it is 110% JAVA(this is true is cr*p performance) not linux (or other fantasy os) so next time read more before say something stupid.

As some posters already said: where are the N900 fanboys now? iPhone fanatics? And about the screen... Suddenly a big screen is a problem?!?! I bet that if the N900 would have such a big screen or Apple would launch a new iPhone with a 4"+ screen, suddenly it wouldn't matter any more. You guys want to have 12 MP camara on every new phone and want to record HD video, but when it's time to visualize your movies/pictures you want a puny screen because it has to fit in your pocket?!?!? Get real!

I hope it does decent video as well... Everything else looks decent enough - 65k is a software limit which i hope will be dealt with by winmo7 beacuse it DOES make a difference when viewing pics on a phone. I hope it is resistive as i do like to use a stylus!!!... especially when doing stuff whilst eating a KFC - but should be ok for fingers as well i would assume.

Dimensions do not seem too far off most business phones like a BB Bold or something maybe a bit thinner. 4.3 inch screen is not too bad if the bezel is made super thin.
