You can store pictures, files, videos, mails etc. Over there...
Some cloud services are- one drive(Microsoft), google drive, Dropbox etc.
You can access the via any smart phone or computer if I it is connected to the net... So the chance of data loss is much low now....

So yes the Lumia have 128Gb microSD which is more than the iPhone6.
Microsoft is good in one way and bad in another.
Yesterday 01/03/15 got an update and now have CORTANA.
The problem is Microsoft has copied Apple so flagship phones do have memory expansion nor removable batteries
Lumia phone that do are mid range, the 830 only offers a 10Mp camera just 2Mp more than the 8Mp on my 820 so no point in upgrading.
The secondary camera on the 740 is better than on the Lumia 830

Once there was iPhones and Android however Samsung with the S6 has said if you want a premium phone we do it too.
The S6 is marketed at Apple, and for years the specs of a galaxy dwarf the iPhone but was held back by plastic not being premium.
There is simply no reason given the S6 specs to select an iPhone as it is both better and cost less, plus you get a massive OneDrive free for 2 years?.
The sad fact is that the S6 like the Lumia 930 is an iPhone.
No microSD but both give you OneDrive but both make you a wall hugger. So no spare and no battery pull
I hope that this iPhone trend does not catch on but phones with both microSD and removable batteries may only come with mid range Specs

Microsoft Lumia 535 vs. Microsoft Lumia 640
I think that the Microsoft Lumia 535 is way better than that.... Of course Microsoft Lumia 640 has an Snapdragon 400 but Microsoft Lumia 535 has a great selfie camera with an awesome tool for optimizing the photos.... Because Windows don't lag, even if the phone has a 512MB RAM, the Snapdragon 200 makes the phone flying.... And both phones are going to get an OTA Update for Windows 10 by Microsoft.....
