I don't get Qualcomm naming. You have snappie 600 and then you have snappie 800, 801 and 805 which are all derivatives of snappie 600 (mostly higher clocks and different gpus)...

and theeen you have snappie 810 which unlike with what the name implies (it) is a complete departure in architecture, core count, process scheduling.

And laaastly you get snap 820 which is -yet again- completely different than either.

I mean what gives? One moving from 600 to 800 would think that he gets a completely different deal (all he got was better clocks) while one moving from 800 to 820 would think of it as all minor update all lol the while it's probably the greatest update in the history of Qualcomm (and IMO Qualcomm's only hope to let her stay relevant)...

AnonD-62569, 02 Mar 2015Damn,I wish they'd release it with devices this year itself... moreThey already said they wont price it like the OPO, they want to raises prices and make a higher profit margin. Cant blame them, it's hard to make ultra cheap phones if you also plan having the best components possible while also spending little to nothing on proper marketing.

As long as they dont ask $649 or something ridiculous like that they should be still attractive, especially without the lame invite system for the West, Europe and India, in east Asian nations no one cares, some don't even know, about the invite system as they can simply buy it online from local stores doing online trading.

No phone deserves more than $449, there isn't one phone that deserves it in the market right now. None.

Expected in 2016, that's great. By then, Samsung will be on 10nm. I doubt Qualcomm can ever regain their superiority again.
