wow, finally HTC follow the old steps from other giants, just change the materials and using the same clothes, or change the clothes, using different materials. eventually, save the r&d, and minimize the cost by using the same platform. same like Toyota, make face lift and change the grill and some skirting, sell at even high price. wow....amazing...

Thank god its not coming to India. ..just because we already have 3 one m8's ...one wid a plastic body (e8), one without IR port n NFC with 13mp cam(m8 eye), n of course the original m8

I think this is good. Snapdragon 615 has 64-bit, the whole chipset isn't too bad. I consider it a mid-high tier processor.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2015lol.. this must b cheaper than m8, not m9.. s615 is no wher... moreIts going to be cheap, cpu performance wise is multithread s615 has the same performance as s801, gpu is not as good, but adreno 405's performance is about the same as adreno 320 in s4 pro, and the gpu in gs4 octa so the performance won't be bad. Also cortex 53 is very power efficient

The new chipset is a total downgrade to the snapdragon 801.. The gpu will be poorer too. If you like the M8 as it is I would get it now before they trash it!

610 and 801 are pretty comparable in my book. Especially running Sense.
It's the camera that they should've replaced.

Nowadays HTC is very slow to update the old devices!
Until today, still no Lollipop for HTC One Max or HTC One M8.
Will jump ship soon! Most likely iPhone 6/6+.
