It is truly heartwarming to see BB stand on its feet again. Having owned BBs previously, I can confirm that BB's OS does not require much resources as does Android or other OS, BB is lean and efficient, so with the introduction of this newest of entries, one should not be under the wrong impression as the specs are a lot more ample than the OS may need. Then BB's are orientated towards a particular clientèle, business and professionals, hence its unparalleled level of security. In my opinion the entry price of $275 is not asking for too much, on the contrary, it is now allowing more and more people to enjoy both an OS and its hardware like never before. Last year I wrote and mentioned that part of the path to success for BB plus its recovery into profitability, is to introduce such models as the Leap. I believe that it's only a matter of time before more and more people will shift to BB, and for very valid reasons too!!

RIP Blackberry, 03 Mar 2015I think blackberry just dig their own grave. And blackberry... moreAh I see you again here Mr. RIP BBERRY. And again here with your antics of predicting the death of Blackberry. Haven't you just said that when Passport and Classic were launched? As time goes by, your are digging deeper in your morass of ignorance than Blackberry is of its "grave."

To those complaining about the specs, might i remind you that this is not a lagdroid and doesn't need high specs to run smoothly. I personally own a Z3 which has never lagged with just 1.5gb RAM.

This is not a consumer phone, it's a business phone. Businesses are more interested in stability, security and battery life. It runs on the most secure network and protects the user personal info and business data. Also for the few missing applications, BB runs android apps as if they were BB native out of the box without hacking. I'm very impressed by the way BB redefined itself.

And if they have put atleast snapdragon 410 than people will buy it.

Now tell me, to what extend have you utilized the latest Hardware specification, and tell me the app/game that does not run on this so called outdated H/W Blackberry which runs on your so called latest H/W mobile. Apart from that, have you ever noticed the difference between Blackberry OS and (Android / IOS) . To be frank, the specs of this device is still far more advance to run the apps or games that are meant for mobile device.

Sam, 03 Mar 2015So price it accordingly. it's priced as it should be. only blackberry phones run the BB 10 OS which is fluid and never lags, so you pay for the OS too.
you can pay without a breath for a 700$ iPhone but a 275$ Blackberry with a long lasting battery and more than perfect keyboard is not worth it. and those 2 gigs of RAM.

it's an efficient built. they know what the OS can stand for, so they don't put "the last specs" on it, because the battery would drain too fast. so they keep it efficient.

The whiners, bashers, haters and losers are confused again. They whine about the price. They bash the specs. They are confused again and can't understand why this Blackberry has again come out with another "crazy," or "antique" device. Well, haven't you noticed? Despite all your whining and bashing and hating all this time, Blackberry just did, once again, what you did not expect. that only means your whining is wishful thinking and you barely know nothing about Blackberry. So keep on whining and bashing and hating ... We are simply laughing you and your helplessness off. waha ha ha ha ha !

They should release an updated z10 with bigger screen which was having better build quality and good design.Such phones will surely not help BB regain its status They are indeed having a great fluid and stable OS but not able to market it properly.
