My N86 seems to lock up when using the bluetooth with my GPS for handsfree calls every once in awhile. I have to shut the phone down and restart it to reconnect the two. It's very annoying. It's not the GPS either..........my pos Blackberry Pearl work phone works flawlessly with the GPS. I hope this update did work this kink out. Otherwise the phone has been great.

Just like to share this..when I got the new phone N86 8MP,i can play mp4 videos, I updated the firmware from 10 to 11 then 20. Then I can't play the pre-installed videos anymore. Even the music folder went to a regular folder. So what i did, back things up, and reformat the phone-like restoring the factory settings. Surprisingly, the music icon is back-even the videos(mp4,3gp ETC) are playing as well-faster compared to before doing it, and hooking it up using the cable for TV-cause it was a little bit slow and looks like a busted video player. Now it works fine!

I checked with software updater, the latest is 11.043, it does not mention anything about 20.115. i could not update. any idea why?

does nokia have an update for the scratched keys from opening and closing the slider... mine is 2 weeks old and already the keys are badly scratched :(

there is one more feature added to it which the review didnt mention is it has a ovi active chat feature which pops on ur front screen after the update havn't used it till now but will post after i do.....

First of all Sony or Sony Ericsson was never the Fisrt one to implement 'Face Detection' be it in their mobile or Digital camera or camcorder.
Face detection technology was developed by Fuji back in September 2004. But they were late to implement it. The first digital camera to implement software-based 'Face Priority' mode was Nikon Coolpix 7600, 5900, and 7900 point-and-shoots. Then everyone followed.
When it comes to camcorder it was Panasonic with it's HDC-SD9 and HDC-HS9. Sony was 1 hour late to announce HDR-SR10, HDR-SR11, HDR-SR12, HDR-UX10, and HDR-UX20.
As far as mobile camera is concerned it was Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd to come up with that feature for mobile phone. Pentech's SKY IM-R100 was the fisrt phone to have that feature. I'm surprised that some even mentioned SE903/905 as the fisrt phone to have it. Well guys you dont have to dig deep, samsung G800 back in 2007 had face detection.
So Sony boys I don't think you have anything to argue on this matter. If Nokia copied. Sony/Se copied it too. As far as Nokia is concerned I personally think it's a shame that they are incorporation a 2 year old technology now. Interesting thing to notice is they usually add this features in updates. That might to be avoid being called copycat. Anyways cheer!

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2009too late for add a face detection and 8 megapixels camera For what high [over 5] megapixel camera on phone??? would you upload pure 8MP picture??? i think that very very useless. for me 2MP-5MP with autofocus + xenon on phone is enaugh. the important on phone is Multimedia Smart OS [Symbian] + 3rd party apps support that's is the Real Phone.

This face detection feature is not copied from any one. It's just happen when you updating the firmware. If you update your n91, n70, n72 or 3110c to the 2009 firmware, then VOILA! It has face detection.
