yeah, Sony's existing camera technology copy nokia's face detect. Obviously, sony is new to this feature that I'm not aware of.

Never seen anybody get more pissed off over face detection than in this thread. You have the basement Sony Ericsson fanboy thinking that SE INVENTED face detection and therefore anyone else using face detection is a copier, and you have the knife-wielding Nokia fanboy prepared to stab anyone who disagrees with his opinion that the N86 rules all. I wanted to say to both of you "shut the hell up", but it's kinda fun watching two yanks battle it out over phones. I'll get the popcorn.

glad to see any new updates and hope that will be upgrades.
well, n86 is just another classic n-series phone.
no new outlook, no new function, really same with others.
really disappointed when i see this gadjet.
when r u gonna change after n97?
and the price is scaring me. too cheap.
can be imagine that a phone with no new shock may just go to this kind of market value. dropping down and down soon.
remember back the time when n95 or n82 release... its different.
btw really really quite late to owan this features. its been long long time ago when c902 has it.
sorry to tell that n86 is not the top cameraphone. it still goes to a least year 2008 gadjet, samsung innov8. just compare it.
quite a shame. cant even compete over a last year product. ooops.
speed and feature are just the same. but remember, innov8 is already releaseD in 2008.

and look seriously the photos posted by gsmarena were TAKEN BY A RETAIL UNIT............ that means that the original or the final version will be much better..........i don't know why gsm arena{"The image quality of the handset is hardly up to scratch at this point though (we've got a retail unit) and we can't ignore that.}neglected this fact.......just read the conclusion part and you'll see these words written there, the software was not at it's final form at that moment.....................................
