Have you ever had a S... morei don't think so , i work in a phonestore for more then 3 years now and the most cellphone's that are broken or made out off cheap plastique are samsung. Samsung L310 was a disaster. SE on the other hand are a more expensive but you get a better build quality with better materials. When you work with a se you feel that it's better made , it feels more expensive. But that's my upinion offcourse.

normally it will cost 499€ , we had a meeting with the ambassador off se for our bussiness and she said that the price would be as cheap as 499 €. I'm curious when it hit the shelves

This seems like it was rushed to the market because of the Nokia N900 and HTC Touch HD II.

Have you ever had a S... moreI have all Sony products at my home (Bravia, PS3, SE, Vaio) and I have never had a problem with them, they work great and Im so happy with them. when someone mentions Samsung, it reminds me on a cheap plastic which sells alot because its cheap but it sucks in performance.

Sony Ericsson's first flagship Symbian device will sell well but will have to build a very appealing and strong mid range io order to succeed over the medium term. It should abandon building low end plastic nonsense and concentrate on innovation which brought success to the company in the first place culminating in classics such as the K800i. Should SE lower the price of this device to the 350 Euro mark,it could become a best seller. High price prevented its predecessor, the C905i, from achieving this.

Have you ever had a Sony (TV, cd player, notebook, digital camera, etc) The average lifetime of a sony is about half as long as the average lifetime of a Samsung. When the warranty expires you can throw it away. Sony is the only company from Japan that behaves like a typical American company. Looks good, but the quality is below all standards. You have obviously no clue how Samsung is working and how big the company is. LCD panels, 70% memory market share (90% in the phone business), phone cpus, even cars. If you want a Sony, get a Play Station, and that's it. Read about the Koreans, and get a real opinion. P.S. I'm from Europe.

Taking into account that this phone uses TFT touchscreen instead of Capacitive, they are doomed to perdition. TFT touchscreen are most of the times irresponsive, and you need to press more than once to make them react. If you do not believe me, watch the movies on YouTube showing TFT phones.
Capacitive technology is superior in that it identifies the electrical charge of a human finger and the touch is light like a feather.
The other side of the TFT technology is that you end up with ugly scratches on the screen. In the Capacitive type, the screen is hard like a sapphire watch.
Am I right in this analysis?

In conclusion samsung suck!!! SE is much better in every single way.
