Samsung is making more time to release it's update in a highly populated large scale selling country like India... They want to sell more goods and and also take more time to release the updates. Hating samsung for this attitude. They too know that we are having battery issues after the pre lollipop update that was released in may 2015. This stops to buy their phone for next time. I would like to get a nexus or lg or moto which are far superior than this samsung and also value their customers a lot. Thanks a lot samsung 🙏

If you really want lollipop so bad, go ahead with Russian firmware. No problems till now, I flashed 2 days before. Battery life is improved to a great extent is only one of the remarkable improvements. Rest all remains same as that of other lollipop phones

Yes, u will get updates after you flash indian version when it is launched. Flashing does not ends your warranty.

guys, u can flash again when Indian lollipop version comes and it will not void ur warranty as it is not going to root ur mobile just u r flashing new firmware....so either u can wait for indian update or u can flash russian version...

And most of the users are using samsung note 3 neo for more than 1 year as warranty is for 1 year.thus, even if somethng wrong happens samsung people will charge them anyways. Secondly, root and flash are two different things.

My dear brothers i am also eagrly waiting for lollipop in my note 3 neo indian version i am checking daily google as well as software update but as usual i didnot see any lollipop on gsm arena i have came to know that indian users are flashing russian firmware i also want to do that but one thing you should keep in your mind that it will root your phone and also void the warrenty as well as online support of samsung so it is my advise that we should wait for some time if we can wait for 9 months we can also wait for some time more and trust me guys i have email this problem to ceo of the samsung and they have told me that they working on this and will start shortly rolling out lollipop in indian version

Cz u hv flashed vd russian firmware. Vl u gt OTA updates later wen u go to settings nd click on software update. Everybdy in india flashing their phones bt no one is commentin on this. Last question, can u uninstall this russian firmware nd install indian version once it launches.

Pappu, 12 Dec 2015If i can update my indian note 3 neo with russian firmware ... moreI have flashed Russian firmware yesterday. Till now I haven't faced any issues. On top of that if your phone is working fine with Russian firmware, then there is no need to reinstall indian firmware when it is released.

I have flashed russian firmware and it is upto now performed very well...no problem....some new features..and material design

Guys who are eagerly waiting for lollipop update can manually flash lollipop update by using Russian firmware. Link shows flashing firmware for samsung galaxy s4. Procedure would remain similar for note 3 neo. Enjoy lollipop experience
