So as a huge fan of removable batteries, I have been one of the disappointed fans of the flagship upgrades. Now that apple, htc, Samsung, nexus, and Motorola have released their 2015 flagships, would I be correct in stating the LG G3 is the only remaining removable battery flagship from 2014 that has not been updated with a non-removable battery?

          So Questions....

          1) If LG is not the only 2014 removable battery flagship yet to upgrade, what other companies should I keep an eye out for (USA market) ??

          2) what are the current leaks suggesting the G4 will be, removable or non-removable?

AnonD-209094, 31 Mar 2015Its hard to have high hopes for G4, after all G2 is still t... moreWhen I first saw the G2 next to the G3 I exactly thought that too.

Especially when I heard later on that LG kept bragging about "laser focus" when it in reality isn't "laser focus" at all. It's Infrared-focus.

Then I realized that the ridiculous QHD screen is nothing more than a pissing contest amongst manufacturers and supposedly better camera nothing more than a gimmick. Supposedly faster focus doesn't necessary equates to better quality photos (the same problem with the S5 when Samsung bragged about "phase detection focus" and when actual pictures aren't much different from S4).

Perhaps it's not so bad to stick with the S5/G3/Z3/M8 for now.

                        1) Less than 4GB is stupid for 64-bit cpu's
                        2) AMOled equipped devices don't benefit from that white infused Lolipop
                        3) QHD screens at approx 5.1"/5.5" are ridiculous for a PHONE.
                        4) Many "flagships" in 2015 have on paper at least less features then previous generation (smaller batteries, no micro-SD-card expansion, anorexia etc...)

Naah I'll skip this one. Perhaps in 2016 they all come to their senses. perhaps Google create a darker black infused Android (Yes indeed, I LOVED Holo... so what?) to complement AMOLed equipped devices. Perhaps the manufacturers re-introduce reasonable pixel-densities, improved batteries (either new tech or bigger), micro-SD cards (or its "faster" successor) etc...

Given the direct the G4 line is headed... I'll be waiting for LG's premium flagship phone instead of this model. I can only assume the rumors are true and they want to get back into the high-end, large phablet market.
