hi need help ive got a factory fresh z1 compact but it has loli[op 5.1.1 on and it works 100% apart from normal calls ppl cacnot hear me but face book and whatts app is fine and test mic only works on occassions

Updated my Xperia z1 to 🍭 5.1.1
It gets sooooooo hot that I can iron my cloths
Plz tell the solution or roll out new update with such bugs fixed

They make the Phone slow so you buy A New one. Wy else would they make an update that's only giving you a slower phone.
I tok the update only because it kept bugging me. Just as the nice app called what's new.

Hello ! I have a Sony Xperia Z Ultra that I upgraded to Android 5.1.1. I activated Stamina mode and then, I activated Ultra Stamina mode. Because in Ultra Stamina mode changed the interface and I not liked, I returned to Normal Stamina mode. In this moment, the problems started. When I recharge, the battery load up to a maximum of 82%. I put the phone to charge and OFF mode, but and here, the battery load up only to 87%. I tried various methods such, I force stopped the phone by simultaneously pressing the Power button and Volume Up button, I stopped application Stamina in Settings - Applications - Force Stop, I returned to the default settings in Settings - Backup&Restore, Factory Reset. In vain. The problem persists. However, after Factory Reset, if I put the phone to charge, the battery load up to 87% and after I remove the charge cable and restart it, appears to me that the battery is 90%. Moreover, with Stamina Mode disabled, the battery power it shows me the battery resist 7 hrs. and with the Stamina mode enabled as you show me the battery resist 20 hrs. That's when the battery charge level is 85%.
Can someone help me with some advice on how to fix the problem? Thank you.

I had same symptoms after upgrading to lollipop. Factory reset didn’t help and I used my phone in safe mode for a while. Just recently I removed my SD card and now my phone works well. So I had some kind of conflict with SD card when upgrading to lollipop. Maybe that helps someone.

Got the update just fine, however, my z1s now overheats very easily, and will persistantly shut down at random points during the day, regardless of what apps are running or not.
