Updated Z1 to lollipop one hour ago, worst update in history, phone is basically unusable right now, everything is lagging, phone is overheating, it freezes and restarts, very poor update.

I am in the UK, I have an Z1 compact and I haven't got the lollipop update yet does anyone no when I will get it?

If you are in doubt then do not update!
My opinion can be different from someone else. Some people like the new update, some others don't.
It is up to you if you decide to upgrade.

Mustu, 21 Apr 2015Which country did you belong?Im in Cyprus, today an update for Z1 compact was received too on a friends' phone. Did not upgraded yet as i need to back it up first.
On my Z1 C6903, the lollipop upgrade is really nice, the only thing i found annoying in my opinion is the big icons. Other than that its really smooth, no battery drain issues nor overheating issues.
But let me remind you that i did reset it to factory after the upgrade and reinstalled all back like it was from google and from sony backup software.
I hope the above will help some of you guys.

I have just updated my Xperia z3 dual to the lollipop.. Am in Jordan
There are several problems such as
1- when someone calls me while the screen is locked it won't show who is calling till you unlock
2- now to solve the first problem I got my self into another problem wich is I can't remove the pattern lock or even change it to swipe
3- battery life decreased
4- the main sim is off-line most of the time
I am so sad now they should fix the problem as soon as possible
And if any one have any suggestions please let me know

Updated my z1 on 15th, no heat issues and battery issues. Instead battery life has improved, earlier 60 percent battery life did not used to last for full day, but now it does. No app crashes either.happy with the update so far

Hi, just got lollipop on my Z1 6903. Im in Cyprus.
For all of you that are experiencing issues with overheating and low battery life, like any other major update performed on my phone, i always factory reset the phone and restore everything from google and from sony backup and restore software.
For those who are having issues, that solution has always helped me. If you tried everything else without any success then try that too.
I hope this helps some disappointed owners here.

Well update is not avalble but not gonna update it giving the faact that many people reported huge problems.

any fixes for the issues going on in xperia z1? slow as hell, battery draining in 6 hours and gets too hot. if there is no fix, i might as well sell the brick and get a new phone
