Synthetic benchmarks are exactly that, synthetic - not real-world uses. They give an indication of possible maximum performance. In actual real app use by most people, this phone should run smoothly even with "only" 2GB unless one is a power user.

Some say not all apps run on the intel chips - if so, please give sources, examples, links, instead of going "because it's obvious LOL". It's not obvious. No review I've seen mentions that this or that app couldn't run, or was running noticeably slower, or was lagging whereas it was smooth in another phone with similar specs (or more importantly, lower specs). However, no review I've seen has _tested_ for it, either. There could very well be some ARM-to-Intel coding translation happening that takes a bit of time, in whatever microseconds, to happen - but if the Asus engineers know this (and they should), and have built the phone with that in mind, and most importantly, if the USER sees NO actual difference in the many milliseconds it might detect, then does it matter what happens behind the screen? (answer: if all apps can run and don't lag or stutter, then no, it does not matter.)

(Actual reviews of this phone have been very few; about half basically repeat the spec sheet and the press release in their own words about what the phone is supposed to do, not what it actually does. One even said "The camera takes amazing pictures, of course! Look at the specs!" without examples, which made the whole 'review' pretty pointless.)

Maybe the user Quantify can chime in, since they have been using the phone for a while. The rest, please show us where you heard what you state, or it will be considered theoretical opinion...

watch some video reviews of the Zenfone 2 2.3GHz 4GB RAM, the games play better on the Intel platform than on Snapdragon 801, it's a little bit better than Snapdragon 810 to.

Asus phones have the worst screens ever, think twice before you buy them. They easily shatter even when dropped at a height of like 2 feet or u keep in back pocket and sit down. Plenty of people have broken their screen in the initial few months and asus does not replace them under warranty. You will end up spending additional 5.5k for that
