i've bought the best tablet over 1 year ago,LG G Pad 8.3,fhd screen,good battery,android 4.2.2 and upgradable to 4.4.2,and to 5,0.2 in the near future,good quality so...u can buy one of these when comes out

AnonD-168251, 04 May 2015That why samsung never will sell more high end tablets than... moreno its not the reason why samsung will never sell them at all, an I product could be made of cheese and it would still sell better then anything else on the market and its simply because of brand appeal, i am not saying any company in particular but there are many far superior devices out there then their macbook line, their pro line, their iphone, their tablet, their watch and so on, but it does not matter because apple has the global brand appeal and once you have such status you could sell sh*t rebadged and it will still sell in billions

I'm more concerned on it's thickness. At that rate, with a plastic build it's possible for it to break into 2 pieces. If it's aluminium, it would easily bend with enough human strength.

I really love the design of the old version with 16:10 ratio. I wish if Samsung only improves build quality and keeps similar design, it would be much better. Samsung might just triy to mimic its tablets with iPad.

4:3 ratio is good for daily use, it make the display look bigger (compare to 16:9 or else).
now please give me a galaxy note 8 or 9.7 with 4:3 QHD display.

Samsung dropped the galaxy note tablets? I hope not, I have a galaxy note 10.1 2014 and I'm waiting for next generation, if they don't make it I'll go for Ipad Pro (if that don't cost my internal organs to buy it).
But let's wait and see if samsung is going to make a good tablet or they just are going to do an expensive and beatiful paperweight)

All Samsung is doing lately is copy Apple's blueprint for their S6 phone and now S2 tablet. Goodbye Samsung!

At any given "screen" more things are going on in tablets than in any phone so instead of "stealing" that page from Apple (tablet SoC should be beefier than phone SoCs), they stole the absurd 4:3 ratio.
Most webpages work better at 3:2, books also seem to follow this ratio, even movies do not look half as bad (especially when compared how bad they look on 4:3 screens). So anything closest to that ratio is best.
Microsoft did it right (surface pro), hell even Samsung was closer to the right value in this tablet's last iteration 16:10. Still off but not as off as they're currently. To top it off the screen is going to be less sharp than 1st gen's (240 ppi vs 288 ppi).
Shame on you Samsung for that and for discontinuing the best tablet Series ever created the Note tablets... Samsung should be renamed to Failsung. Because they invent some of the best ideas and then discontinue them...

One more thing... I saw the source, they never said anything about processoe, so gsmarena need to clearify the sources, cause a past post of sammobile said maybe the processor will be a exynos 7.

lemon jelly, 04 May 2015same tab like the old one.Worse. They actually managed to have smaller screens with worse PPI than the first gen. So the only reason to go to Samsung (greater PPI more ample screen estate) is gone.
Thank you Apple, you ruined one more tablet line (even indirectly)...

That why samsung never will sell more high end tablets than apple, look the processor it's seems to be exynos 5433, apple uses a8x processor that already is on pair exynos 7420. Samsung neeed to use something like 742x (new pprocessor, can be 20nm look its a tablet not a cellphone) , but the performace must match or be superior than ipad air 2. If samsungs uses 5433, dont make 10.1 tablet cause that processor can be only match to a7, more or less.
