Since most operators push Micorsoft-Nokia phones to the customers who are not investigating and following the trends, they choose the cheapest device there is and prolong their subscription. Many operators offer those phones for free or for minimal monthly payment. That does not mean that people are really using these phones or using them to their full potential and downloading or using apps. So far, Windows mobile is a dead platform.

this is great news for the platform.. what a lotta folks miss is that, even a 0% change is actually growth. Since new phones are added every year, so the fact that u've retained your share itself is good news. (not commenting only from WP perspective but across platforms :))
