(Drum roll) "And now, introducing this week's Annual Flagship phone from Elephone!" Still waiting to read an unbiased review of the not-yet-released P7000.

Cheap for a reason, don't expect any updates at all.

P3000S owner here, the most recent Elephone released earlier this month is a version from March that actually worse than the version they released in February.

Waiting for a basic phone with massive battery for only making calls and sending messages.

You will also have to pay 20% import duty if you live in the UK and the delivery charge for importing it into the country.
I've had a cheap chinese smartphon, Otium Z2, which had a 3200mAh battery and that lasted days with ease. The build quality wasn't very good though and the camera was dreadful. These chinese phones seem to come with a stock 13mp camera and it's just terrible so be warned. They are great battery wise, but quality wise they are lacking.

Mediatek means no custom ROMs so its a no go for me despite the specs and price...

This post would have been a lot better if it had said more about how the P8000 differs from the new P7000, which is still not out yet so virtually as new as the P8000.

Wouldn't recommend Elephone to anyone. I bought one last year and it literally disintegrated. Camera was awful from the beginning and unusable, same with the gps, screen got dust under the glass and so did the camera after a while, the screen cracked easily (no protection on it), battery dies suddenly at around 20%, the metal frame was actually a fake one and started peeling off, sound quality is bad. It's cheap for a reason
