device is getting heated too much, nether xiamoi responding nor flipkart

Company like xiamoi should not do R&D after sellin devices

For a company that trash talked Mediatek about octacores are now the ones applying it and doing a crappy job. The Mediatek's new 64bit octacores not only give better price to performance ratio but also they have better thermal control and better battery consumption. This is because they're already experienced. The only bad thing is that the MTK chips have slow OS upgrade support. Other than that they're killing the market. Go back to the drawing board qualcomm.
PS. For those who still think we don't need octacores because not all cores are used, It's true with Qualcomm chips but not MTK. MTK octacores have their own technologies that can make use of all cores depending on the task. I used to like Qualcomm, but now they're just getting lazy.

Correction ! To be available in Malaysia by 28th May, as that's the date of first Flash sales for Mi4I.

That's the problem trying to made a slim phone, there's not enough space for heat dispersion.

Rather waiting for Mi Note which is coming soon to Malaysia.

Its gonna be a garbage update , just like it was for the redmi 1s . Xiaomi devices provide high specs at low cost but still lack performance , heating and high RAM consumption are problems I have faced on every Xiaomi devices I have used . I loved the battery on Note 4G though . Xiaomi should test devices better before making available . Also , the lollipop update seems just a dream to Mi users . Xiaomi should understand these and focus on user satisfaction in terms of software updates , fixes too

I got this phone on first day itself . I was worried about the heating issue in the begining but I found some claims of over heating exaggerated. phone has super awesome screen, nice camera, good battery backup, fluid OS and untill and unless u are a extreme gamer and into lot of multitasking it doesnt heat any more than my earlier phones...for casual use and those who have a life got jobs to do this is sufficient..

whatever u do its of no use xaomi... These guys did the same thing with redmi 1s by saying some algorithm bla blaa...but of no use...xaomi did a big mistake by choosing this processor and price...mi3 is far better than mi4i(flagship for india...lol).

Another lemon coming from Qualcomm. When would people learnnever to use any of her processors again. Enough phones she ruined this year...

It is a good feature packed mobile though. Hope next iteration comes with a better processor in the given price range.
Can't compare the processor of MI3 with it.
