after updating my de,i4i device still facing heating problem under normal use also like browsing capturing photos and video etc. And front camera of phone lags in outdoor conditions. also device make a diifrent sound on tapping on back near camera like somthing inside it is broken or not in place. no idea what is this.

I like to request to add memory slot option in this model if it is been added then this product will be more best mobiles in all shopping sites..
If it memory slot option is been added at earlier i required one mobile to purchase..

Over heating issue will resolve by hardware and software changes. What about the existing users who are already facing same issue with the device. If phone get older then whether Xiaomi Company will be responsible and change the phone. Please answer any official authority of Xiaomi.

Yes It has heated like other local assembled Chinese mobile phones, Xiomi company may rectified this kind of defects re issue the new mobile phones to all existing customers

Some companies use SD 615 instead of 810 to avoid heating problems but Xiaomi have problem with the solution!!! I am wondering if they used SD 810, Mi 4i would blow up.

Hi Malaysia mi fan, since many user complaint mi4i have overheat issue. please think carefully before you purchase it. we always have more good choice.

Phone is heating too much so that sim cards also getting heated on normal usage.
So that basic functions of making and recieving call not works.
Sim shows network but someone calling get tone as number is not availabile but same sim work in another handset ok.
I called flipkart to return device 4 times but huge resistance by them for return n refund.
This product is not upto mark.
May use atleast 801 processessor and 2gb ram.
615 is bad processor

I have updated the 805mb and I'm still facing the same heating issue even using for simple tasks and simply keeping inside home. This phone absorbs all outside heat and reached 42 centigrade in idle mode. Xiaomi you made us fools. You will certainly lost trust in India

hey, first of all sorry for my english. second, why are you protesting so much on a budget device? you pay as equal as how hard they can provide it to you. why dont you produce your own phone and put the price yourselves? third, buy high end phone if you want a better hardware or software or something. last, get some brain before u complaint.

Yes, the phone does heat up but the attention it's getting from it is a joke. Which phone doesn't heat up when you're using it for a prolonged period and it's not like you can cook a sunny side up on the Mi 4i if it overheats. It's just warm!

After upgrade phone has still heating issue . I have replaced the phone two times but still it same it's a manufacturing defect . I know Xiaomi technisian working on it to fix this issue. Hoping we will get this fix update soon. After that in this range it's really a great phone.
