I bought mi4i 3-4 months ago. Only good thing about this are the looks and camera. Otherwise heating up, speaker, system hanging, extremely slow search of contact list etc etc are the regular problems I am facing. Do not have time to go to service centre and get them fixed. Trying to find out solution online for increasing the speed of contacts search. If anyone has it, pls share.

finally I found a solution for my mi4i. Mic has issue and the sound was not audible. Now I fixed it...
Here is the solution of this problem, follow below steps
1.Go to Settings
2.Scroll down until you find "About phone", tap it
3.Scroll down and find "Kernel Version", tap it multiple times (at least 3-4 times). This takes us to "Hardware tests"
4.Now tap on "Speaker PA Calibration Test", this opens up another window with "Calibrate" button
5.Tap on "Calibrate" button this will calibrate the sound system and when it is "pass" you are done. If the calibration fails, stop any application running related with volume like playing song and try again till it is pass.
Now play any song and you are booming already! Your sound volume is back to normal. Start booming !

I bought xiaomi mi4i 5 days back...& while pkaying song d volume suddenly drops to d minimum level nd remain at d same level+ overheating issues..pls give some solution

I received this phone just two days back. I updated the MIUI with latest verssion but heating issue is still persist till ear burnt.
I can't say it is a bad phone but can't use it for direct call so better use headgears or go for some other phone.

I'm using xiaomi mi4i form first release. Few days back my phone setting not working properly and my WiFi networks not responding even I tried reboot. But the problem persists pls some giv me a solution.

it's a good mobile , but some bugs are thear like lock screen opening time what i am studied is camara is not working athe stage of lock .........
and main problem is over heat , and little bit slow , this are the main draw back of this phone ,
remaining all are good , i love the ui . thank u "mi"

I got Mi4i last month. Today found out that rear camera not functioning at all..a lot of sparkling colourful lines on the capture screen, whats wrong with that..anyone got the same problem like mine? Front camera its working well

I got Mi4i 10 days back, suddenly its external speaker Voice drooped out and continue in that mode till I power reset it. It starts with good sound , but dropped out after 4-5 sec. Is it a software bug or Hardware issues.
