Nothing HTC excites me at all

HTC shouldn't expect to be doing well when they release a perfectly capable M9+ just weeks after the M9 release. It's a slap in the face to know that they could have included a larger screen and a fingerprint sensor in the M9, two things which turned many prospective buyers off. Really poor decision making. Can't understand it.

All HTC need to do is give people what they want.

No black bar below the screen
          Less bezels
          Great battery life
          Great camera

And keep doing what they do best like the Boomsound speakers.

Why not start with a price cut across your lineup HTC?

First of all they should fire the person who decided to put that crappy camera module on the back. Nowadays picture taking is what people do most on their phones, so releasing a phone that can't make good photos looks like suicide. No OIS while both Samsung and LG have OIS. Relatively high aperture compared to competition (F2.2 vs. 1.9/1.8).

To wrap up: if you want to know the reason behind HTC's failure just compare pictures taken in low light - M9 with the S6 or G4. The difference is obvious. If HTC struggled with keeping good profit with quite good devices like M7/M8 how did they think it would be better with the inferion M9?

HTC, why didn't you guys look at the Asia market like Singapore and Malaysia. People knows about HTC, but not popular. Cause HTC doesn't concentrate on what people wants. There's no update on equipments father purchase or very very slow.... Please look into all these to do better.

At least HTC knows it's phone is embarrassingly bad. Now for the fan boys to admit it

Increase marketing budget? Come on HTC! What a shame. You should have increase R&D instead and the device would have sold on the merits and not Sammy & Apple type hype. The current leadership at HTC seems not interested anymore in "making a dent" in the smartphone arena, and are just happy playing catch up.

Could it be that HTC has finally figured out people generally don't like phones with big ugly bezels?

I have a better Idea HTC, why not trying to give better software support to your devices? huh?
btw HTC is probably the worst smartphone manufacturer with godzilla size bezels, poor quality materials, shorter lifespan products, and worst software support!
I have been a Sony fan and HTC cannot even come close to it in terms of hardware quality, software support or product lifespan!
                              go home HTC, sleep well!

HTC has a lot of work to do to reign with the big guys like Samsung and the emerging giants like Xiaomi and Micromax.. Cher Wang is a strong woman (herself) she will take HTC to the better place.. but the design has to change too..
