After the 5.1.1 update my Karbon Sprakle V has been giving extremely poor battery life. In order to combat that I have to activate battery saver mode which manages to eke out a days worth of battery life. Hope they rectify the issue.

I have a Micromax canvas A1. I downloaded the android 5.1.1 update several times but while downloading is done, the installation stalls at the beginning with just an error screen. The battery has to be removed to restart the phone. Any solutions to the problem??

kmrl, 06 Jun 201511.8MB not a major update. But I thought from kitkat to lol... morethere is no confusion in it. I updated my Micromax Canvas A1 (android one) from android 4.4.4 KitKat to android 5.1 Lollipop about a month ago and it was 406.9 MB to download and it was a major update.

2 days ago I updated my phone from android 5.1 to android 5.1.1 which was a minor update and it was only 11.8 MB to download.

I think your confusions are solved.

So u have to wait for them to customize the new edition. The south Korean brand is very slow in updating.

Hey, just to clarify.. The android one devices were updated from KitKat (4.4.4) to lollipop (5.1) a couple of months back.. This update to 5.1.1 is just a minor update to fix bugs and security fixes.. Hence the update is only 11.8MB. After the update my phone seems to be working smoother and much better memory management.
