I have an iPad mini already which I am fed up of and want an android tablet. I much favour the widescreen aspect ratio. With this in mind, looks like I am going to have to purchase the outgoing model... What a shame they didn't stick to the old screen shape.

No flash. 4:3 aspect ratio, pointing to a panel with the same resolution as the iPad Retina Mini (meaning, smaller resolution on both directions and lower DPI than the Tab S 8.4). Seriously, Samsung?! Did you look at the iPad Mini 2 -> iPad Mini 3 upgrade, said "well, crappu upgrades are the new norm. Let's do a worse upgrade than Apple did!"?! Or is the Tab S too expensive to make and you want to justify ending the line with the awful sales that will come from this POS?

I have been waiting for what seems like forever, for a replacement to the Galaxy Note 10.1 - I think I can't wait any longer. Bring on Microsoft Slate 4.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2015No LED flash no buy!Samsung logic: copy everything Apple does, whether good or bad, then expect anyone to buy this sh*t.

Seriously though, with no decent android tablet around, I was hoping the next tab s would be the go-to android tablet to beat the iPad. It's gap no-one has filled and Samsung are looking set on blowing it.

AnonD-79047, 08 Jun 2015I will never ever buy Samsung's Tablet anymore. Samsung gal... moreI do partially agree with this but there seems to be a common fault with these batteries where they rapidly drop when below 30%, like 30% to 5% in seconds... Plug the charger in and it shoots back up 28%, you're probably affect by this and a replacement battery under warranty should be the answer.

Samsung really need to sort this out!

Also, no flash and a 4:3 layout mean I won't be upgrading from my Tab s 8.4 (if I ever get my on-going issues with Samsung repair centre ANOVO resolved - shocking! They have completely ruined my device but Samsung being very unhelpful and sloooooow).

I'm extremely happy with my Nexus 9, the Nvidia K1 Denver processor is the best CPU I've ever used in an Android tablet. Android is still a fairly laggy OS, even the latest version. The Nexus 9 exhibits almost none of that lag that I saw with my Tab S 8.4 before I sold it for the Nexus 9. TouchWiz had a lot to do with Tab S being so laggy but even after I installed CyanogenMod 12, though a lot better, it still lagged in a lot of areas, specifically when running an app in the background like a terminal app. In which I use everyday to log into servers at both work and home. The Nexus 9 runs these tasks a lot better, even with only having 2GB of RAM vs. the 3GB in the Tab S. I think this has a lot to do with the Exynos processor, though fast on paper in real life scenario's it just doesn't hold a candle to Nvidia's K1 SOC. I recommend grabbing either a Nexus 9 or Nvidia Shield, if you can wait, Nvidia will soon be releasing their new Shield Tablet with the X1 CPU. I just received my new Nvidia Shield TV, which contains the new X1 chip and it's incredible. So much so that I now use the Shield TV as my main computer. Using an app called Second Screen from XDA, I can change the DPI to reflect that of a normal looking Desktop UI. So I bought a new Samsung 27" curved monitor and now have a pretty fantastic system for less than 550 dollars
