Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 gets caught in live photos

08 June, 2015

A duo of alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 live photos made the rounds online. The images of the upcoming slate have reportedly been discovered on the website of Taiwan’s telecommunications certification authority.

The images of the slate fall right in line with the ones we saw last week from its visit in TENAA. The successor of Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 sports the model number SM-T715.

An FCC visit by the slate also revealed a diagram that falls in line with past leaks. It also confirms the above mentioned model number.

Specs-wise, the Tab S2 features a 1.9GHz octa-core CPU (the chipset is likely to be an Exynos 7420), 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable memory. The display is an 8” AMOLED unit with 4:3 ratio and 2048 x 1536 pixels. An 8MP main camera, 2MP front-facing unit, and optional LTE connectivity are also on board.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to debut in 8” and 9.7” guise at some point this month.
