I also own both QHD and FHD phones, only by looking at photos on them you see the ammount of details scaled to the display is different. So totally worths it. More gorgeous pictures! And since that all flagships have been able to record in UHD since last year, videos details will go up too.

So let the cavemen with their 350ppi is enough for them (for texting and FB and other non requiring quality display activities)

If I compare QHD and UHD/4k in hand and wont see any difference, I will agree thats no need for that. But its hard to imagine that there will be no difference, at least in amoled it looks like brightness is going up with that.

Should have a 6.9" screen and s820 chip and at least an 8,000mah battery then it might be worth it together with at least 8.5mm thickness.

yeah, bring in the more senseless crap to the market!
Only if they could make the technological advancement in battery backup (without increasing the capacity) and the advancement in processing power (without going for octa core), or the heat dissipation of the chip (without throttling) but instead they thought about shoving more pixels which basically doesn't even make difference on such screens. Puh!
(BTW this argument goes for QHD displays as well!)
