I'm relatively new to this Galaxy S6 and so far so good. Haven't seen this issue yet.

Bad thing Sammy, very bad thing. Pay close attention to these firmware releases. Just don't release anything! Test it well before releasing!

Same thing on S6 Edge to.....factory reset resolve the problem...

Its due to security policy update related issue. If phone is factory data reset from settings then this problem is solved. And keep auto security policy updates off.

No software is bug free. But lately, I heard of so many software bugs from sammy. Updates that fixes old bugs and breaks other features, slowing down the device or freezes the phone. Dont get me wrong, no OEM does a perfect job, but in my opinion, touchwiz is still buggy and slow

Samsung having a bad time at min,too much consentrated on shoving 100 phones a year out without being fully tested,profit first i guess then worry about the rest when they feel fit !

My s6 edge did this Saturday morning. I thought i was going insane looking for it! Stupid thing. No huge issue as i always leave mine on really but hopefully the 5.1 update sorts it out.
