Bethany, 06 Jul 2015I've been buying Android phones since I knew what Android w... moreMaybe try a hard reset or something. My s5 is the best device I've ever used. Good screen, good camera, great battery life, etc
Granted, lollipop made it look shit with all the white backgrounds but is still a beast. Only app that ever force closes is google earth for some reason

sammy s5 is good device.... s6 overheats and g4 too..so that might be the reason but because people always are stupid and focus having the ebst hardware avaliable no matter if it has issues or not waste their money and then are crying because already knew it,,,,,,im different from most of u..we need to chose a pefect balance between nescessary and power in order to have a good device...maybe u dont like it..but for me the lg g2 is one of the best devices aroud...why..well simply take a look on the specs...it has a decent display..camera..battery size and 32 gb for most of u is enough...latest android version in the mean time,,...good ram and processor...the battery last longer than many others......this one has a good balance a nd ill pick it even over these lates phones g4,g3,s6,edge and other and it is because is not comming with those tons of issues ..it may have ones but i dont think biggers than others..

Bethany, 06 Jul 2015I've been buying Android phones since I knew what Android w... moreThat is ridiculous. I've owned an s5 for almost a year now. The only time I had constant app crashes was within the first week of upgrading to lollipop. Most of the comments of people bashing the s5 for lag and crashes are probably just lies.

I've had the S5 for just over a week and returned it, because of the camera's por dynamic range.

The S6 is the first Samsung phone with a really good camera.

CR's criteria must be very different than mine.

Thr only thing that let the S5 down was low light camera performance, but that is the only thing. Its one of the best, well rounded phones of all time. I think Samsung are going to slightly regret going down the sealed route with the S6, lets hope they dont make the same mistake with the Note 5.

I had a Galaxy S5 before and it's a perfect phone. excellent in everything from speed to camera to software to design to water resistance .. I spent last summer with my Gold GS5 on the beach and man I had fun with it. until one day I severely damaged it and broke the screen, now I have a Note 3 .. it's classier and has a bigger screen but man that GS5 was amazing ..

Hard to believe that the S5 ranks top... In these years, I have just seen people using S5 for no more than 5 times...

                    Can't understand reasoning behind this!
If one thing is going to considered insane that's how G3 managed to beat G4 that improved over G3 in every possible way.

I've been buying Android phones since I knew what Android was. I'm big into the newest technology but I am more excited about a stable user experience. I consider myself quite the smartphone enthusiast. With that being said, the Galaxy S5 is the absolute worst phone I have ever owned, and that is taking all of my early 2000's flip phones into account. On the second day of owning this phone, it froze so definitely that I had to remove the battery and let it sit. It constantly overheats - even when it's not doing anything OR being charged. I hardly have any downloaded apps on the device. The camera is the worst I've owned in YEARS. I had an HTC EVO in 2010 and, in looking back (thanks to Timehop) over those pictures, both the front facing and rear facing cameras danced circles around this one! I can't get it to focus on ANYTHING, and it has been that way since I purchased it. There are no scratches on the lenses, either. It lags, it freezes, and it overheats several times a day. I have scanned it many times for viruses, I constantly clean out my junk files, I move most of my videos off the phone onto Google Drive, and it still lags and freezes. It's a joke! I constantly ask myself who the heck Samsung thinks they are, calling their devices "the next big thing." The ONLY merit I can give this phone is that the battery hasn't died out as quickly as those of my past phones. I can still go a large portion of the day with moderate usage before it dies. Other phones, such as my aforementioned EVO, my previously owned One M7, and the Motorola DROID all had to be charged (after dying, of course) every 4-5 hours. I've had my Galaxy S5 for over a year now and it's still lasting me 7-8 hours. That's quite an accomplishment, but it certainly doesn't make up for the terrible user experience.

                          I vote i9506 s4 not i9505, is smaller than s5 (s5 is to big) , s4 is enough , and the price , is a big dif a price .

SAMSUNG Galaxy S5 is the underrated phone, just only because of its design.

People always judging something by its cover.

I love my s5 the water resistance is my favorite feature. The s6 is pretty but I am person who prefers function over form. While I don't carry around a spare battery I am happy to know that once my battery has reached it's threshold I can simply replace it and not have to worry about spending money on a whole new phone or having to go to a repair shop for a replacement battery. Side note: I go crazy when people call the s5 waterproof lol, it's water resistant and yes there is a difference ☺

There is a difference between buying and voting. I might vote S5 for overall added features like you mentioned, but not buy it. Rather go for S6 or iPhone 6 or G4 :)

The point is that everything goes through one connector

tudor, 06 Jul 2015I do care about my battery, because of security reasons - t... moreso, there's so much phones you can buy with that kind of features. go, find one, and buy it. it's not what YOU wont, it's what THEY can make money of. this year they will make money on ppl like me. i like s6, so i got it. didnt like s5. never in my life needed sec battery (like most people), never needed more memory (like most people). dont get me wrong. i want all that you want and all i wan in one device....but, this is not a perfect world. and marketing is a ....female dog.
